Goshem Loste is one of the pre-made, yet unplayable deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Vera, the father of Arty and the grandfather of Kristen. Though deceased when the game begins, he can be seen in the family tree of his granddaughter.
Like his wife, Goshem's name may be a pun, as it sounds like "Gosh I'm Lost". According to his SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned grey. His age data indicates that, when he died, he had 26 days left before dying from old age.
