Gardener Gloria is an NPC in The Sims. She wears mustard yellow overalls with dark green patches on the knees and legs. Sims cannot socialize with her and only options that appear when she is clicked on are "Fire" and "Dismiss."
Gloria comes every three days when called via phone to water all outdoor and indoor plants. She will leave early if there is a plant she can't reach or if there's an obstacle in her way. She will work until all plants are watered or until 5 PM. If the time reaches 5 PM, she will leave, regardless of whether the job is done or not and be charged for the hours she has done. If there are no plants to be watered, she will charge for an hour and leave.
If The Sims: Makin' Magic or The Sims: Complete Collection is installed, most of the time, Gloria will stay past 5 PM and will continue to work until she is done, even staying until late at night. This can cause the game to lag severely if Gloria continues to work late at night, which can be fixed by dismissing her for the day.
Gloria will also replant dead plants and dig up holes that dogs may have dug.
