This game guide is only relevant to The Sims 2.
In The Sims 2: Nightlife, during normal build mode, the driveways are always placed vertically. However, there is a cheat to make that vertical driveway or driveway extension become a horizontal one.
Note: Horizontal driveways should only be placed as an extension, not as the only driveway placed.
- Step One
- Go into Build Mode -> Driveways and place a driveway correctly orientated on the lot.
- Step Two
- Open the cheat box (ctrl + shift + c), type "moveobjects on" (without quotations) and press enter.
- Step Three
- Delete or replace the right-end tile of the opposite sidewalk.
- Step Four
- Place a driveway horizontally on the lot. Garage doors can also now be placed horizontally.
