Foxbury Institute is a university in Britechester the world that was introduced in The Sims 4: Discover University. It is said to be "premier place of higher learning" with a modern campus and facilities.[1] Foxbury Institute is more Americanized compared to the other neighborhoods with the surrounding suburban houses. Just like the University of Britechester, Foxbury Institute features mostly university housing and offers all of the degrees.

Foxbury Institute distinguishes in the following degrees: Biology, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Psychology, and Villainy.

Foxbury Institute may seem young compared to the historical town surrounding it, but it has quickly distinguished itself in academia. For the students who have worked hard to attend Foxbury Institute, it’s not just work, but the pursuit of personal passions that keeps this campus bustling.

There's food, and lots of space to study or work on homework when students are tired of dealing with their roommates. Computers and Robotics Workstations gives everyone a chance to use the latest technology to get a kickstart to a new term.

Larry's Lagoon is a Foxbury Commons lot. It is a large, open-concept building that features a computer area, a cafeteria, a ping-pong table, two robotics workstations, and two bathrooms. The lot is named after Foxbury's mascot, Larry the Lobster.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The university is around 50 years old and was sponsored by the Landgraab family.[1]
  • Foxbury's mascot name, Larry the Lobster, is a reference to the SpongeBob SquarePants character, Larry the Lobster. Larry's Lagoon is also a reference to Goo Lagoon, one of the few places in SpongeBob, and is where Larry works as a lifeguard.
