I need help with The Sims 2. I have Nightlife, Apartment Life, and I recently installed Pets. It's been working great until now. I tried to merge the Crittur Family with one of my CAS families and my game crashed. I thought nothing of it and reloaded the game, only to find that my game now crashes everytime I try to play the family, all because of those stupid dogs. So I loaded another, non-corrupted family, and used Tombstone of L and D to add the Sims from the corrupted family to the non-corrupted one. There's nothing wrong with the Sims or the house, the problem is because I added the Critturs. I had the Sims find their own place, and now my game crashes whenever I click "Families." I can't access CAS or the family bin anymore. It's only happening in this neighbourhood, which is my favorite neighbourhood that I spent hours and hours building. I have no custom content and no hacks. Do I need to download a patch or something? If so, how do I do that? I need help ASAP! --Sparrowsong 21:31, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

I own SimPE, so, one way, would be as, to create exact clones from extracting them from the crittur files, and do what you want with them. Delete the maxis creations, and put the clones in your game. If problems continue, you should go to The Sims 2 Website or ModTheSims for more help. thank you a_morris for showing me how to create a new file in your game. Archie 03:28, April 24, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, but I managed to fix it myself. I went on thesims2.com and downloaded both the Pets patches. Then I re-added the family to the other family and bulldozed their house. After that, I was finally able to open up the Family Bin and delete those evil dogs once and for all XD. Sparrowsong 05:58, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
