Forums: IndexHelp deskWhich TS2 expansion pack should I get next? | Forum new Post

I already have Nightlife and Apartment Life, both of which I love, but I want to get another EP soon. I'm not much of a CC girl, so I don't have any hacks or whatever that can conflict with certain EPs or stuff packs (though I'm not really a stuff pack girl, either). What EPs are the best and why? Which one should I get next? --Sparrowsong 17:32, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

This is largely a personal preference. So a good question to ask yourself is, "what are you interested in doing?" Here's a brief rundown of the expansions (just in case you don't know them) with links to their specific wiki page. I hope this helps you make a decision!

The Sims 2: University - Send your Sims to College. Comes with architectural tools and buy mode objects as well, cell phones, new careers.

The Sims 2: Pets - Follow-up of The Sims: Unleashed expansion, allows cats and dogs into family, also other smaller pets.

The Sims 2: Open for Business - (My personal favorite) Allows Sims to own and manage businesses (stores, restaurants, clubs, etc.). Allows Sims to make objects and sell them (robots, toys, flower bouquets).

The Sims 2: Seasons - (also a good ex. pack) Introduces weather (rain/storms, snow, hail, heat and cold), new outdoor activities, and gardening stuff.

The Sims 2: Bon Voyage - Successor to The Sims: Vacation, allows Sims/families to travel, own property outside the neighborhood.

The Sims 2: FreeTime - Introduces new gameplay, hobbies, activities to do w/ your sims.

As my personal opinion, I think Seasons is most important to get. It adds the most new features--weather, new ways of cooking, items, and a whole lot more. But as LostInRiverview said, it's a personal preference. I personally, if I could get another expansion pack (this is if I had only, say, Seasons) it would be Pets, but that's because I'm just an animal freak xD. People who aren't like that, I've noticed, don't like it as much because it doesn't add a ton to the gameplay. Also a suggestion; I'd hold off on FreeTime. It's not urgent at all. It's probably the last expansion pack you should get--well, I think, anyway. Happy Simming :) ℳąφℓ₠ƒя☼ş₮❣ ツ 23:21, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
