Food trucks are a feature included in The Sims 3: Late Night. Different food trucks will drive around town, set up their shop at a special parking space and sell 6 different meals. Food trucks will appear and disappear as the day goes by.[1] The only Sim that interacts with the truck is the consumer; there is no visible driver or sales person; the food truck itself can be considered an NPC. Eating a meal from the food truck will give the Sim one of two moodlets, one of which is positive and the other negative. Food trucks tend to drive to different locations frequently, so finding one or just getting to one before it leaves can be a challenge.
If a lot has a Food Truck Parking Space, the food truck will usually (but not always) park on it. If not, the truck will stand on the roadside, or in rare cases use regular driveways.
