Fine
Fine is an emotion available in The Sims 4. It is the default emotion and usually occurs when a Sim has no moodlets. A Sim instructed to "Care for Self" while on a different active lot will feel fine.
Supportive Traits and Events[]
These traits affect how often a Sim is fine. All of these effects are only applied to certain Sims' traits conflicted with their unlocked lifestyles in Snowy Escape, except otherwise noted.
- Grouch[TS4:CCE] (Social trait): Sims with this trait will be fine when emitting grouch aura, which causes other Sims to run away.
- Romantic (Emotional trait): Sims with this trait while the Single and Lovin’ It lifestyle is active will become fine upon waking up for being single.
- Loves outdoors (Hobby trait): Sims with this trait while the Indoorsy lifestyle is active will become fine when enjoying or missing indoors.
- Child of the ocean[TS4:IL] (Lifestyle trait): Like the loves outdoors trait, Sims with this trait while the Indoorsy lifestyle is active will become fine when enjoying or missing indoors.
- Freegan[TS4:EL] (Lifestyle trait): Sims with this trait while the Workaholic lifestyle is active will become fine if they haven't worked for a long time or while at work.
Certain events lead to a fine moodlet regardless of a Sim's traits:
- Wearing dry laundry.[TS4:LDS]
- Become emotionally mindful by reading a book, painting, listening to music, playing an instrument and fishing (as well as meditating[TS4:SD], yoga[TS4:SD], relaxing in sauna[TS4:SD], flower arranging[TS4:S] and creating a ceramic on a pottery wheel[TS4:B&H]), which lead to controlled emotions.[TS4:SE]
- Have a romantic partner and marriage while having a Single and Lovin’ It lifestyle is in effect.[TS4:SE]
- Having a clean floor. [TS4:BTDK]
- Being transformed into a Beast form without having a maximum fury (Werewolves only)[TS4:WW]
- A Sim under acquaintance relationship has passed away[TS4:L&D]
- Spend time outdoors (objective goal will be completed once this moodlet expires) [TS4:NCE]
- Emotional void ailment [TS4:EBN]
Careers and Jobs[]
No jobs or careers will gain work performance if a Sim goes to work while fine.
