Frogs and toads are animal species that have appeared in the Sims franchise on many occasions.
The Sims: Makin' Magic[]
The magic system allows casting a Toadification spell, which will turn the target Sim into a toad for a short time. Sims can kiss them, which will sometimes give a bottle of Toad Sweat, but the toads can also be eaten by dragons.

The Sims 3: World Adventures[]
Frogs are fishable, primarily in the saltwater river of Champs Les Sims, but the ability to fish for it can be added to other worlds and water bodies with Fishing spawners.
Caught frogs can be placed in aquariums as small pets, or be used to cook Frogs Legs after buying a recipe book from Champs Les Sims and having cooking skill level 3 or higher. Frogs Legs can also be bought from professional bars on some The Sims 3: Late Night lot assignments. The meal is also notable for not being able to buy the ingredients for directly from the refrigerator, one of only two meals in The Sims 3 with this trait (The other being Ambrosia).

The Sims 3: Supernatural[]
Fairies with magic skill level 7 or higher, can cast a Gold and Toads trick on another Sim, which has a 50% chance of making them cough out toads.
Toad Sims are Sims with the head and skin of a toad, and the body of a human. Non-occult Sims can turn into Toad Sims through various methods.
Toads are added to various fishing spawners as a new entry-level fishable species.

Lucky Palms[]
The wishing well included with that world, often has a frog show up when wishing for Love from the well. The frog will either turn into a Sim after being kissed, or will remain as a frog, the latter outcome will have the Sim throw the frog back into the well.

The Sims 4[]
Frogs can only be caught in the wild, and cannot be bought unless the player goes to a The Sims 4: City Living flea market or uses the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat. There are 25 kinds of frogs available, with rarer kinds being worth more Simoleons, though all frogs have an environment score of 3.
Sims can view a frog's terrarium to determine what kind it is, and can breed two frogs together if both are in their inventory. There are no other interactions and, unlike fish, frogs can't be named.
Breeding is done in the inventory when a Sim has at least two frogs. Frogs have two type of genes.
- Dirt, Leaf, Eggplant, Heart, Sunflower
- None, Striped, Spotted, Whirl, Surf
Breeding two frogs will result a new frog with mixed genes. Frogs can only be bred once every 4hrs in game, as Sims become exhausted from it.
