Early lifeEdit

The details of his early life are unclear. However, it is known that he harboured sentiment towards the Government. He joined the Liberation Army soon after the broadcast of General Harry Miller's recruitment speech.(RE)

Service in the Liberation ArmyEdit

WARNING: The following section of this article may contain spoilers to a fanon story. Proceed at your own risk.

After joining the Liberation Army, Rainer was assigned to the 5th Artillery Squadron, whereupon he began training. His squadron used small cannons with bogey shells to hit training targets.(AS)

When sabotage of the camp's water tank was discovered in the early morning of 4th April 2150, Commander Marion Mars began questioning members of the Army to find the perpetrator of the attack on the Army. Rainer was one of the individuals participating in the investigation. When he was called in for questioning, it was found that he had information on the guilty's identity. He had told Mars the man's first name, Philip, when he was shot, allegedly by the same person who had poisoned the water two days earlier.(AS) Philip Henderson was arrested soon after, and imprisoned for the duration of the Liberation War.

Rainer was buried in a hastily constructed camp graveyard after a 'state' funeral. Upon the capture of the city of Bridgeport, Rainer's family was informed of his death. The body was exhumed and reburied in the Bridgeport Eternal Rest Cemetery. His family was allowed a small private funeral.
