Biography
Theodore Calliope was born on June 19, 1932, in Lamia,Greece. He the ancestor of many characters in the story Rhea the Vamp which is a substory of the _____. Not is really known about except the fact he was a teacher when he was 23. According to himself he was raised in Lamia,Greece. He got engaged then later married to Mary Calliope (née Perc) in October 2,1958. Before they got married they had a daughter named Theodora who was born on September 23, 1958. At the age of 49, he had another daughter on February 29,1981 named Cynthia.
Personality
Theodore is hot-headed at times especially when people argue with him. He enjoys being with his wife and family. Unlike his wife, he is very cultural and but doesn’t care if the family follow traditions or their religion. He have made some statements hinting that he may be an atheist. It’s unknown if he’s a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. He seems to be the most layback person in the family. He enjoys various activities like fishing,visiting art galleries, going to rock concerts, and dancing.
Relationships
Irene Calliope: The two been married for 59 years. They often are seen talking to each other with humor. Irene often called him “Thor” and he called her “Sweet Daisy.” They do argue about the family traditions and the future of the family which make their relationship a bit strained. It appears they had a few relationship problems as well because after an argument they’ll stop talking for days.
However, Him and his wife argue due to conflicting beliefs, personalities, and political views. Despite this he still love his wife and give her affection. In chapter__ when Damian visit them, it was obvious they had a recent argument because they wasn’t talking to each other. When Damian asked him what happen he said “I wish I stayed back in Lamia than live here.” Possibly hinting he wanted or had thoughts on leaving his wife. but doesn't.
When Damian asked Irene what happen she answered “Oh it’s just us arguing again...Don’t worry about it dear.” It’s unknown if they have resolved their relationship problems before they died. However, according to one of the fireman that put out the fire, he was trying to save him but he was trying to save his wife and they both died in the fire.
Cynthia: They had a strong bond with him than she had with his own wife. He may have a better relationship with her than with everyone else in the family. She often talk to him over the phone about her children,Irene,political views,news, scandals, and the latest rock songs.
Damian: When Damian was younger he always hang out with him. They use to go fishing,visit art galleries, dance classes, and go to rock concerts. As he got older and started a family he usually try hanging out with his grandfather whenever he visit him in Greece. Whenever Theodore get’s angry or upset Damian distant himself away from him because he worried he may say something he regret or is hurtful to him. Therefor making their relationship a bit strained.
Theodora: He cares about Theodora and want her to be the best in life. The two can be seen chatting in the background in chapter__. Theodora worried about her parent’s relationship and want it to improved. She share her concerns to him in chapter___ when she visited them. He told her to stop being nosey which upsets her. Ever since then the two haven't been seen interacting.
Other family members/Grandchildren: Theodore cares about his family and respect their wishes on not following family traditions. Him and his wife do send gifts to their grandchildren on holidays.
