| While Thai is traditional in all matters concerning raising his family, in everything else he abides by the age-old philosophy of just not caring. His blissful naiveté has gotten him into trouble with his wife, especially with the kinds of high-profile procedures his office performs, but it's one he hasn't abandoned; after all, the choices others make don't concern him, so why waste time worrying about them? Thai Nguyen is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. He resides at Rapturous Roost in the Llama Lagoon neighborhood along with his wife Hoa Nguyen and their four children, Ua, Ethan, Isa, and Felix. At the beginning of the game, Thai is fifteen days away from becoming an Elder.
Having lived in Newcrest his entire life, Thai has connections across the neighborhood and has known his wife since they were children. Never one to take life seriously, he perfected his Comedy and Video Gaming skills before attending college to become a Doctor. Eventually returning to Newcrest and settling down with Hoa to start a family, Thai disinterestedly studied Logic and continued in his profession, and currently serves as a General Practitioner in the field. When first played, Thai is well on his way towards accomplishing his Aspiration of Successful Lineage, having already completed its first two stages and making significant progress towards the third.
Thai carries a Doctor of Medicine Diploma in his inventory, in addition to a microphone, a Future Cube, and a copy of Logic Vol. 3: The Problem with Paradoxes. He possesses a distinguished degree in Biology from Foxbury Institute.
