Sonny Meredith
Biography
'Sonny is happy with his life, having a beautiful and loving wife, four great children, and a supportive brother. Him and his wife Trish agreed on adopting and they got Todd, Charmaine, Rosalind, and Irene. Not only is he lucky in his marriage and parenthood, but he got pretty lucky to have such a great brother like Eli. To go along with that, Sonny has a great relationship with God. His life is great. What more could this man ask for?'
Sonny Meredith was born November 2, 1970 in Twinbrook, Iowa to Lucy and Ed Meredith. He married Trish Meredith on Valentine's Day of 1992 and they have four children Todd Meredith, Charmaine Devereaux, Rosalind Meredith, and Irene Meredith.
Early Life
Sonny Meredith was born on November 2 of 1970. He was born in Twinbrook, Iowa to Lucy and Ed Meredith. They moved to Sunset Valley, Iowa when Sonny was 3 months old. They were a Lower-Middle Class family. Lucy was an assistant at Twinbrook County Health Department. Ed was a car repairman. He had a good family life. His parents were good people and were liked by many. He had a decent education and he was very future-oriented. He always wondered who he would marry, how many kids he'd have, what his children's names would be, etc. He and his family also lived a life for God. Sonny's father died on December 15, 1982. His mother was upset and heartbroken. In 1983, his mother started getting back out there. His mother met a man from the East side of the United States named Jim Colson. Jim had a son named Eli who was born in 1968 who Lucy and Sonny both grew to like. Jim and Lucy got married in 1985, which made Eli and Sonny step-brothers. But they always said "This is my brother" when referring to each other. Lucy and Jim always said "we have 2 children" when referring to Sonny and Eli. Eli's surname remained Lanagan when Lucy adopted him. Sonny went to Twinbrook Community High School from Freshman to Senior year. He graduated and had a GPA of 3.79.
Adulthood
At the age of 18, Sonny started pursuing a career in writing. Her started writing Romance stories. He is best known for the series he wrote called "From the Heart." "From the Heart" was a series of 7 'volumes.' On February 14, 1989 Sonny became engaged to the Filipino-American Trish Morgan. He had been dating her for 4 years, since he was 15 and she was 14. They got married on February 14, 1992. She wanted her children biologically, but her and Sonny agreed on adopting their children. Todd was born September 19, 1988 and adopted January 19, 1993. He was born in Ireland to an English mother and Irish father, both who died in a car accident in November of 1991. Charmaine was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on March 17, 1994 to Canadian parents. Her parents divorced, her mother died, and her father refused to raise his daughter so she went through adoption services. They adopted her on May 5, 1995. Rosalind was born December 25, 1999 in Manila, Philippines to a teenaged mother and an unknown father. Her mother was poor so she gave her daughter up only because she wanted her daughter to be in better care than what she could provide for her. Sonny and Trish adopted her on January 24, 2000. Sonny and Trish decided 3 children was enough. But they discovered that a child named Iris Ludden was living under terrible conditions. Iris was born on July 3, 2003. Her father died on July 13, 2004 and her mother was hurt. Her mother began drinking and abuse started to come into the picture. Iris was taken into police custody and put under the responsibility of child safety services. Iris was adopted on October 29, 2004 by Sonny and Trish. They agreed on her name change and changed it to Irene Meredith. Sonny and Trish were often credited by many people for being great spouses and even better parents to their children.
Health Issues
Sonny has been diagnosed and tested positive for minor Dementia. But his chance of death from the Dementia is as slim as 5% out of 100%. He also was tested positive for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) in 2014. He also has developed problems with Emotional Stress in March of 2017. His two main results of emotional stress are dizziness and fainting or change in mood and behavior (grumpiness). He does take medicine for his PTSD and he gets help with his Dementia twice a month.
Current Life
Sonny currently resides with his wife Trish in Sunset Valley, Iowa. His oldest son Todd lives with them, along with their second-youngest child Rosalind and youngest child Irene. Charmaine currently lives with her husband Todd Devereaux. Todd is currently engaged to Jamie Jolina. They are supposed to get married on December 22, 2017. Sonny lives on the opposite side of town from his brother Eli and sister-in-law Anita Lanagan. Sonny is going to be an uncle soon, his sister-in-law Anita is said to be due by Christmas Eve of this year. Sonny is an Author and now a Comedian. He does his comedic work on TV. He works on "Saturday Night Live" on Fridays from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM. Trish sometimes guest stars on the show with him, more often this year than she did when he first started.
Legacy
Sonny is known quite well as the "President of Comedy." He was nominated for the "Best Comedian" award in 2016 and won.. He is also well-known for the great husband he is. He even got nominated for "Best Celebrity Husband". But he told the people on a FOX News report that he wouldn't accept nominations for the simple fact that "I'm not a celebrity for one. And I never will be, unless the media can drop their ways of spreading gossip and drama. I don't want to be a part of that. To be famous, you must have some sort of connection with the media. To me that's not good. So I must respectfully decline any future nominations for awards." He is still well-known and more-or-less famous, whether or not he wants to be in the public eye.
