Shelby Lexington (née Moth) is a fanon Sim, created by Beds. Shelby is the matriarch of the wealthy dynasty; the Lexington family! Her family is currently the third generation of the Lexington family. Shelby has been unemployed her entire life, and rather enjoyed staying at home, being a mother to her two children. When first played, Shelby has not long aged up to an Elder. Shelby has mastered the Cooking skill, has 4 skill points in the Guitar and 2 in Gardening. Shelby carries a gardening book and an old newspaper in her inventory.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Shelby was born Shelby Moth and was born into the Moth family, a middle-class family who had lived in Sunset Valley for some time now. Shelby is the only child to Ronald and Alexandra Moth (née Berry).
Shelby had an easy childhood, growing up as an only child had benefits. For example, her parents spent a lot of their time with Shelby, which made her go quite insane.
Once beginning childhood, she began Elementary School and became fast friends with her classmates. Shelby was quite the optimist during her childhood, believing that she would grow up to find a good man and a steady job.
Teenhood[]
Teenhood was also quite an issue for Shelby, her friends following the trends of the "cool Sims" and leaving her alone. This made Shelby quite sad and her school work took it's fall.
However, Shelby was not alone. Miles Lexington, a member of the wealthy Lexington family had also fell prey to silly school bullying and Shelby had decided to become friends with Miles and also wanted to show him the fun side to life.
Not long after becoming friends, a young Miles asked a young Shelby out and before they both knew it, they had begun courting ("dating") each other. Shelby had never expected to meet the love of her life at her school. Could Miles be the One man that Shelby had been looking for?
Young Adulthood[]
Young Adulthood was pretty hard for Shelby. First, she had to witness the terrible fire that killed her parents, but things began to look up for her when Miles asked her to move in with him in Lexington Manor, as Miles had inherited it from his parents.
Shelby was over the moon and moved in at once. Not long after moving in with one another, Miles popped the big question. Shelby, of course, said yes and the pair married on the glorious sand of Sunset Valley, in a private ceremony.
A few days after marrying Miles, Shelby found out she was pregnant. Miles and herself were chuffed, Shelby had longed for a boy as much as Miles had. She was certainly pleased with herself when she gave birth to their first child and son, Lucien.
However, she had realised that Lucien would get bored of being an only child, herself being one. Perhaps she could convince her husband to have another child?
Adulthood[]
Adulthood hit Shelby quite quickly, she found out she was pregnant with their second child and hoped for it to be a boy. But, instead, young Alexandra was born. At first sight of her daughter, Shelby was quite shocked but was pleased to give Miles another child.
This led Shelby to question what she would do next; so she decided to take up a skill - Cooking! She began to read cookbooks day and night, and before she knew it, she had mastered the entire skill!
Alexandra then went on to learn other skills, but still managed to keep a watchful eye on her children who had taken another road from each other. Young Lucien being interested in sports while young Alexandra being interested in her toys.
Elderhood[]
Once she entered the final stage of her life, Shelby knew that she had to take a step back from her children's lives and instead resorted to keep her husband happy as he was down about retiring.
Shelby has some regret for her daughter Alexandra, who has recently began doing her own things and breaking almost all of the rules. She also worries for her son who has recently announced that he will be joining the Military career as he wants to become an Astronaut.
Well, one thing Shelby is sure off, she is looking forward to one or both of them giving her grandchildren! And, the way things are looking with Lucien and his girlfriend, well, it might just happen soon.
