Nicole Elizabeth Blumenthal is a scientist and astrophysicist living in Lunar Lakes. She lives with her partner, inventor Kelly DeWitt.

Nicole and Kelly met while both were researchers at the Perigee, Lunar Lakes' science building, which had been made from the crashed remains of the shuttle of the same name. As two of the few female scientists working at the facility, they quickly bonded. Soon, they were dating, and they eventually wed.

While Kelly built her own private lab out of her home, Nicole continued to work at the Perigee under the tutelage of Christina Landgraab.

Early years[]

Not much is known about Blumenthal's early years, except that she was not originally from Lunar Lakes. Her family may have originally come from Aurora Skies. In her teens, after showing talent in the sciences, she took a summer job working for noted scientist Loki Beaker. She eventually won a scholarship to attend Sims University, where she majored in biochemistry. She was a member of the science honor society, and graduated magna cum laude.

After moving to Lunar Lakes with Kelly, Nicole took in her troubled younger half-sister, Cassie Benson.
