Nicholas Thea (Thay-er) is a Sim who was first introduced in The Sims: Unleashed and returned in The Sims 2. He is the son to Camilla and Stephan Thea. Nicholas is married to Ariella Thea and together they have one child, Aiden. In The Sims: Unleashed, Nicholas lives in Old Town with his son and wife. In The Sims 2 he lives in Rosebud Village with only his son, as Ariella was abducted by Aliens between the events of The Sims and The Sims 2.
Nicholas' Surname "Thea" is actually pronounced "Thay-er" and is commonly mispronounced as "Thee-a"
Oddly, Nicholas' household name in The Sims 2 is called The Rosebud Family even though his surname is Thea and no one who lives on the lot has the surname Rosebud. This is most probably because the lot was once owned by Ariella Thea's parents Ainsley and Atina Rosebud, or it was just a developer oversight.
