Mortimer Goth is a Sim in my version of Pleasantview. He is the son of Gunther and Cornelia Goth, who are both deceased. He was married to Bella, but she mysteriously (and infamously) vanished, possibly from an alien abduction. He has two children - Cassandra and Alexander.
Mortimer is cheerful and outgoing, even for his age. He was successful during his career as a scientist and is now retired. During his lifetime he had invented the Elixir of Life, which could extend a Sim's lifespan to eternity, providing they were in good spirits. This invention was one of many that made him rich and famous throughout SimNation.
Mortimer is ready to have Cassandra married to Don Lothario, but has a small tingly feeling that something would go sour, as Don was also the last Sim to interact with Bella on the night of the abduction. Mortimer is unaware of Don's other relationships, and his ignorance will come at a terrible cost.
Mortimer is also in a relationship with Dina Caliente, who is also in a relationship with Don Lothario. Dina only loves Mortimer for his money, which she will inherit if they marry, and she will inherit some of it if he dies even if they are not married. Things may not end well for Mortimer if he proceeds with the relationship, however.
