Mavis Frohmann was a woman who lived in Brindleton Bay and then, after her parents and her boyfriend Max died, moved to San Myshuno. As a teenager, she was a well-known author.
Biography
Before the Apocalypse
Mavis was born in Brindleton Bay. Her house was by the sea and was huge. Her parents had a dog called Natsu.
Mavis was named after her mother's deceased dog. She wasn't really pleased after she found out.
She was always very good at school. She had no friends in primary school because she spent most of her time studying and had no time for friends. Although she'd relaxed a bit in high school, she still had little time for friends. Her parents were very old and after Natsu's death, her mother was sad and became ill.
However, there was one boy who, despite everything, remained her friend. Max didn't care if she didn't have time for him, if she needed him he was there. It hadn't taken long for her to fall in love with him. But their love didn't last long. After a tragic accident in the swimming pool, Max died and Mavis was all alone. Her parents had died just before that.
She started writing books and quickly became a famous author. However, when fame became too much for her, she stepped out of the limelight, sold her house, and moved into an apartment in San Myshuno.
She met Caleb Vatore in a bar. They got on very well straight away, but this time she didn't fall in love so quickly. Only after a one-night stand she began to develop feelings for him.
The Apocalypse
A short time later, Mavis learned that she was pregnant. She thought everyone hated her because she was a teenager, but instead everyone supported her. Her best friend took care of her when Caleb couldn't be there and Caleb and Mavis officially got together.
But then something happened that nobody had expected. In the news came more and more reports of an illness that spread very quickly and strongly reminded of a zombie virus. The people who got it were strangely pale, hungry for human flesh and showed hardly any signs of humanity. The disease was transmitted through bites. The virus spread rapidly and it didn't take long for it to arrive in San Myshuno. Mavis was about to give birth at that time. One of the first to fall ill was Mavis's neighbor and best friend. At the time, it was found that the zombies could be killed with a shotgun.
Mavis had never been someone who would voluntarily kill someone. But as long as there was no antidote, that was the only way to survive and stay healthy.
People were forbidden to leave the city where they lived, so Caleb was not allowed to be present when his son were born. Mavis gave birth to a healthy boy and called him Lavi. She almost gave up her life, but when she finally held her son in her arms, she decided to fight. Neither of them, neither she nor her son would die.
As Lavi grew older, she taught him how to fight the zombies. She also taught him things like writing, math, etc. Lavi also liked to draw a lot. At some point he even drew better than she and so he spent almost all of his childhood drawing.
One day, when Mavis was walking around in the side streets, she saw two children, about Lavi's age. Both were injured, but only the boy seemed scared. While he crouched in the corner and cried, the girl stood protectively in front of him and seemed ready to fight Mavis. When the girl realized that Mavis was human, she relaxed a little. Mavis asked the two children what they were doing there alone. The girl replied that her parents had become zombies a few years ago, that she had killed them and that she now lived alone on the street, along with her twin brother. Mavis was shocked by what the two children had already experienced and offered them to live with her. However, the girl refused. She didn't trust Mavis. Then Mavis offered to buy an apartment for the siblings instead, which the girl hesitantly accepted.
Death
Mavis asked the girl her name. She replied that her name was Evelin and her brother was called Ryan.
Mavis often looked after the two children and brought them food and other essentials. She taught Evelin how to use the shotgun so she could protect Ryan.
She didn't tell Lavi about the two children because she was afraid that he would befriend them and that he would suffer if they died.
Over the years, the number of infected people continued to decline, although no cure was found. To prevent the number from rising again, everyone had a duty to kill a zombie when they encountered one. There was no use in killing infected people who were not yet transformed, as they would still become zombies.
It was a cold winter day when Caleb called that he would come over. Mavis had already suspected that something was wrong. Caleb would never put himself in danger unnecessarily and come to the city where some zombies were still around. And when she met him, her fear was confirmed. He was almost completely a zombie. Caleb said he only got infected shortly after calling, an hour ago. Mavis hadn't known it was going so fast. She wanted to tell him so much, but only shortly after his arrival he completely turned into a zombie.
Just a day later, it should be over for Mavis too. She was outside with Lavi. They just wanted to eat together when Mavis suddenly saw Evelin with bite marks on her neck. And those weren't vampire bite marks. Mavis was so distracted that she didn't notice the zombie behind her. Lavi warned her, but that was too late and the zombie bit Mavis. Evelin had heard that and hurried to Mavis. And Lavi ran to them too. Mavis asked him to speak to Evelin alone. When the time came, he should shoot Evelin and Mavis. She also said to Lavi that she had a letter for him in her room that he needed to read.
She told Evelin that Lavi would take care of Ryan and that she didn't have to worry about her brother. Evelin was happy and they talked about trivial things until they turned into zombies at about the same time. Lavi did what his mother asked him to do and killed Mavis and Evelin.

- Unlike Evelin and Caleb, Mavis's death was not planned.
- At first I only wanted to play the Strangerville story with her and Lavi, but then I discovered the Zombie Apocalypse Mod and decided to play a story with it.
