Mary-Sue Oldie (formerly Pleasant) is the only child of Herb and Coral Oldie, who adopted her when she was a toddler. She is also the ex-wife of Daniel Pleasant, and the mother of Angela and Lilith Pleasant.

Mary-Sue is a bit of a workaholic, and was too immersed in her job as an Intern in the Politics career track to notice all the problems at her home - including that her husband was having an affair with the maid, Kaylynn. After making a bad decision at work, Mary-Sue was fired and sent home. There, she saw Daniel and Kaylynn WooHooing, and she immediately broke up with him. She then moved into her own house, leaving her daughters in the custody of her husband.
