Maggie Gallagher is a Sim who lives alone with her daughter's dog, Barney. Her family includes her two children, Dennis and Karissa Gallagher. She also has some grandchildren through her children. The father of her children is Lawrence Gallagher, who used to be her husband.

When raising her children, Maggie is strict on her daughter because she is too eager to grow up. Eventually, Maggie learns that Karissa has made the same mistake she did when she was in high school, which is getting pregnant. This action leads to Karissa getting kicked out by Lawrence, which leads to Maggie divorcing Lawrence.

Life HistoryEdit

Maggie's maiden name is unknown, but it is assumed that she is born and raised in Willow Creek. One day in high school, Maggie meets Lawrence Gallagher and they begin dating. Their relationship is very intimate, which leads to Maggie getting pregnant with Lawrence's child. Maggie allows Lawrence to stay in her life to help raise their new son, Dennis. Soon enough, Maggie marries Lawrence and they move in together with their son Dennis.

The Sims 4Edit

Maggie, Lawrence, and Dennis move into Bargain Bend in Willow Creek. While Lawrence works as an Assistant Dishwasher in the Culinary career, Maggie stays home to care for Dennis. Once Dennis is old enough to start attending school, Maggie starts working as Mailroom Technician in the Business career. Maggie then has a daughter with Lawrence while she is still working. They name their daughter Karissa. As Karissa grows up, Maggie and Lawrence notice that she's a little eager to grow up. To prevent this, Maggie and Lawrence adopt Barney, hoping that Karissa won't be as eager. However, Barney's adoption works to no avail and Karissa still is eager to grow up.

One evening, Maggie overhears Karissa having a conversation on the phone while she's in her bedroom. Maggie learns that Karissa is going on a date at the XP Mont with Jared Parker, a boy that Maggie has never met. Maggie decides to spy on her daughter by going to the XP Mont first. While Karissa is on her date, Maggie sees that Karissa is given a promise ring and asked to meet Jared's parents. So far, only Maggie knows about Karissa's promise ring.

Eventually, Maggie is finally told about Karissa's relationship with Jared from Karissa herself. She and Lawrence both tell Karissa that they already knew before yelling at her. Maggie says that Karissa is too young to be dating someone, but Karissa just argues back before storming away. The next day Maggie meets Jared. However, she is yelled at by Karissa when she is rude to Jared. Later, after dinner, Maggie tells an uninterested Karissa that she and Lawrence will be attending a costume party for Spooky Day.

On Spooky Day, Maggie dresses up as a cleaning maid. Along with Lawrence, she shows her costume to Karissa before they leave for their party. She and Lawrence stay out all night and when they return home, they are unaware of the party that Karissa threw. A few days later, Maggie welcomes home her son, Dennis, when he is visiting for an anniversary party for Maggie's in-laws, Leroy and Gladys Gallagher. Another few days later, Maggie is at the XP Mont with Lawrence and Karissa for a family dinner. Karissa says she has something to say, but says she forgot it, leaving Maggie perturbed.

The next morning, Maggie, along with Lawrence, learn from Karissa that she is pregnant. Maggie is more disappointed than Lawrence, who is furious. Maggie attempts to calm her husband, but she agrees with him when he says Karissa should've known better because they didn't know better. Then, when Lawrence kicks Karissa out, Maggie becomes completely complicit, much to Karissa's shock. That next evening, Maggie meets Jared's parents, James and Joanna Parker. James explains that Karissa is staying with them before Lawrence cuts him off. He then explains that he and Maggie agree on having Karissa banned forever from their home. However, Maggie remains completely silent during the meeting until the Parkers leave.

Since the meeting with James and Joanna, Maggie's marriage with Lawrence deteriorates quickly. Throughout the nonstop arguing, Maggie receives a text from Karissa wishing a Happy Harvestfest and remind Maggie about her situation. Her arguments eventually lead Maggie to divorce and kick out Lawrence. She then visits Karissa at the Parker home to apologize to her and to explain the divorce. Maggie also asks Karissa to return home. While Karissa accepts Maggie's apology, she refuses to return home because of Lawrence and asks Maggie to take care of Barney. Maggie promises Karissa and goes to see her new grandchildren, Brody and Nicole Parker. While seeing her grandchildren, Maggie bumps into Jared and apologizes to him as well. Jared accepts her apology, stating that he blames Lawrence more than he does her.
