Lanaya Patty Reed (née Andresen) is the child of Laura and Ernest, mother of Lexi and Cole, and grandmother of Florence, Isaac, and Payton. She is the Third Generation heir of the Andresen Family.

Life

Lanaya was born on November 3rd 1969. She was the obvious better child than Gary, who always got into trouble as a kid. Lanaya loved reading, and often fantasized about becoming an author but she never really committed to becoming one. One day in when she was a child, she accidentally wandered into the high school with her friend, Lucas Reed.

When she was a teenager, they soon became boyfriend and girlfriend and had a lot in common. Lanaya liked that he had a motorcycle.

Young Adulthood

She soon graduated from Sunset Valley High. Later she got a job at Doo Peas Corporate towers, where she really excelled at work. She gave birth to Lexi in 1996. Lucas and Lexi had a beautiful father-daughter relationship, and Lanaya felt a tad bit jealous because she always wanted a relationship with Lexi like that. Later in January of 2004, Lanaya gave birth to Lexi younger brother Cole.

Then Lucas went off to go on his motorcycle a month after Cole was born. Lanaya went off to watch them, and Laura was watching the kids. Then tragedy struck... Lucas crashed his bike and wasn't able to survive. Lanaya cried the entire time she was in the waiting room of the hospital. People gave her strange looks as she bawled her eyes out, but she didn't care. She just didn't know how to tell Lexi... When she came home she told Lexi and then Lexi had a mental breakdown. To cheer Lexi up, she entered her into a beauty pageant and Lexi won! This cheered Lexi up really quick and she felt better.

Adulthood

Soon Lanaya was a mature adult and she had problems being a single parent of a teen daughter and a son who always fought about nothing. She had developed a better relationship with Lexi and Cole and they both liked her very much.

Elder

She retired when she was the Department Head of the Doo Peas Corporate Towers. Her daughter Lexi moved out later then she had children.

• Her name is based on a character named Lanaya from the book The Last Book In The Universe.
