Biography
Kora enjoys good drinks, fun times, and long periods of isolation away from every normal sim who are just like her. Because she's totally a normal everyday sim, not an alien.
Kora Archer is a famous yet mysterious mixologist living in the Torendi Tower Penthouse in the Fashion District in San Myshuno. She is well known for hosting many a rockin' party in her place, yet she is not a major fan of having actual friendships due to an ever-present fear of her secrets being discovered.
Koralia Archer was born into a wealthy, powerful family on the planet Sixam. She lived in the top floor of the infamous Archer House, a tall building in a central part of Sixam founded by her father, Agrreth, to further studies into science and space travel. The rumors surrounding the building were numerous, words such as 'torture', 'war' and 'weapons' being thrown around haphazardly. Her older brother, Regalio, was set to inherit the Archer fortune since he was little. He always acted above everyone for he was rich and always would be rich. Koralia never did enjoy Regalio's games of 'Rich vs Poor' in which he forced her to do his chores for him in exchange for a dollar or two. Their mother, Mareena, never knew about this and just figured Koralia was being nice. All the scientists liked Koralia's company more because she would talk to them on a sim-to-sim level, while her brother would degrade them.
Leaving Sixam[]
As she got older, Koralia often wandered around the lower halls of the Archer House. She could be found talking to the scientists or blabbing with the secretaries about the latest gossip. One day she got a little too curious and went into the lowest level of the building where they contained their secret projects. Things like probes and mind-control guns where scattered everywhere. She mostly drew her attention to a portal-like object and to a little box-shaped machine labeled 'disguise'. She played around with the box until it released a light that enveloped her. She ran to the nearest mirror and discovered she looked like the aliens her father had always described. After figuring out how to switch between the disguise and her normal appearance, she decided to keep the disguise on and leap through the portal. She ended up in the outskirts of a town called Windenburg.
New Life[]
Koralia found out that the people of Windenburg weren't all that different from the people of Sixam, she found it incredibly easy to blend in. She shortened her name to Kora and reveled in the fact she didn't have a menacing family reputation that preceded her. She got her first job as a bartender in the Old Quarter Inn and worked her way up to working the bar at Discothèque Pan Europa. Although easy to fit in and acting friendly to people came as easy as making drinks, she kept everyone at arms length. She eventually moved to San Myshuno and started working at Planet Honey Pop!, leaving behind her 'Windenburg roots'.
Moving[]
After moving to a small apartment in the Spice Market, Kora became gradually more and more famous for her drinks. She started working the bar at every big event in and out of town, people would come up to her for 'the best drinks in history' and her outlandish stories of an alien planet. Many people started telling her that she should write a book about the planet that she 'created', she always stored that idea away for later. She eventually saved up enough to move into the large penthouse she craved when she originally moved to San Myshuno. Due to its large size and nearly endless amenities, she began to host parties every week. Sometimes, for every night in a single week, you could hear music blasting out the open windows and the sound of laughter coming from her esteemed guests.
A Friend[]
Kora finally had her first true friend in a Mr. Michael Voss, a scientist from the Arts Quarter. He came into the karaoke bar sad and depressed, he had finished up the divorce papers and he and his wife were offically not together. She had gained almost complete custody over their daughter, Arya, with the exception of every third weekend of the month being his. He drank himself into a stupor and was unable to drive himself home, nor could he form the words to tell anyone where he lived. Kora took him home with her once her shift was done and let him sleep in one of her many spare beds. The next morning, he came into the kitchen with a wicked hangover, thanking her over and over again. She made him breakfast and they just talked, back and forth, spilling their life stories (or the fake made up one that Kora made up) and cracking jokes. They exchanged numbers before he left. She could honestly say that she had made a friend.
A Relationship[]
Kora and Michael began dating on one of the weekends Michael had Arya. He invited Kora over to tell Arya the stories of Sixam because Arya was being despondent and didn't care about anything that Michael had to say. Her mother had warped her image of him. Kora sat down with Arya and told her everything, told her her true life story but passed it off as a legend. She told her about the true nature of her father, how sweet and kind he is. Michael fell head over heels in love with her at that moment. When Arya went to bed, the two talked over drinks for an hour or so before Michael blurted out something about loving her. She laughed at him but said something about loving him too.
Regalio[]
While Kora had been living her life as a normal sim in San Myshuno, Regalio had taken over both the Archer House and Sixam itself. Their parents had 'died' in a 'mysterious accident' about a year after she had left. He wanted to make sure Kora could never come back to Sixam, by murder or by destroying any portals between the planets. He disguised himself and left for San Myshuno, finding his sister at the Romance Festival with Michael. He publicly threatened her to never try come back to Sixam or risk the concequences, then left for home, destroying all the portals in the process. Kora couldn't care less about that whole event, she enjoys living the way she is now.
