Kaydence Michele Westley-Plumb "Kady," is an actress, novelist, scientist, and social media influencer. She was born in Starlight Shores as the daughter of acclaimed actor Sebastian Plumb and pop star Madison Avenue. She is the niece of Savannah Plumb and on her father's side, the granddaughter of Nathan Jolina-Plumb. She was given the middle name of Michele to honor her maternal grandmother, Michele Guyton.
Her musical parents - one a trained classical pianist from a musical family and the other a vocal legend - wanted a musical name for their daughter. After going down the list, they went with a variation of Cadence.
She is of African-Simerican, English, French, Irish, German, and Native Simerican descent.
Early life[]
Kaydence grew up in a life of exceptional privilege in Starlight Shores, where her father treated her like a princess. She enjoyed the times when her actor dad put on costumes for her and performed roles in her children's stories. However, it was clear early on that she was an exceptionally precocious and observant child. She was an 'old soul' who spent a great deal of her Starlight Shores childhood in the huge library in her parents' mansion, reading books bigger than she was. Her parents bought her expensive custom-made dollhouses which were mostly used as decoration because she preferred to read. Her love of books frustrated her mother Madison, especially when she insisted on bringing books with her everywhere. At the age of eight, Kaydence asked her mother for a chemistry set and a chess table. Her mother refused.
Kaydence's high intelligence seemed to increase her isolation. Despite being the daughter of celebrities, she'd never had a playdate with other celebrity children, and, if she spoke to anyone, it was to adults, not to children her age. While her parents gave and attended lavish showbiz parties or argued with each other, she was often upstairs with her books. Is it any wonder, then, that this self-contained child would later create an elaborate fantasy world?
At her young age she witnessed the breakup of her parents' relationship - their fights and battles - and she also was witness to her father's infidelity, as he carried on his affair with her nanny in front of her. Kaydence recounted all of these events to her aunt, who was astonished by the clarity of her retelling.
Kaydence taught herself French while her father was on a movie set in Champs Les Sims.
At the age of seven, she testified against both of her parents in a hearing in front of a Hidden Springs magistrate, who reluctantly awarded custody of her to her father. Reportedly when asked which parent she wanted to live with, Kaydence replied, "Do I have to live with either of them?"
Teen years[]
As of this writing, Kaydence has just recently turned teen, and is a student at Community School for the Gifted in Sunset Valley, her father's birthplace and the town to which he's temporarily returned. She registered for her classes at CSG under the name "Kaydence Westley," the latter being Madison's real last name, a name that few people know or recognize. The Starlight Shores-born Kaydence stuck out like a sore thumb at CSG, not only for her clothes but also her somewhat exotic appearance.
Also, because of her father's fame and accomplishments as an actor, she has a part-time job as a commercial actor at Plumbob Pictures. Her class schedule reveals she is taking mostly honors and advanced placement courses. She is captain of CSG's debate team and is also taking drama and music classes after school. Suffice it to say, Kaydence is working her way through the drama in her life. It has become abundantly clear that in many ways, Kaydence is more mature than either of her parents.
Her father, Sebastian, married singer Cherise Hall in Sunlit Tides, and Kaydence found out like everyone else did - via a blurb in the newspaper. Kaydence has been trying to get to know her new stepmother, but the situation is a challenge for all involved. Fortunately, she has turned to the family butler, Tasha Sorenson, for additional guidance, with the absence of her mother in her life.

being around her aunt Savannah and her cousins; however, she and her cousin Skylar, who are the same age, dislike each other. The reasons for this aren't quite clear yet. Kaydence enjoys decent to good relations with her other cousins and has developed a surprising friendship with her cousin Sierra Cheesman.
Unlike most sim kids and teens, she enjoys school and homework and seems to prefer reading above anything else even though she does not currently have the Bookworm trait. Generally, she appears to be more comfortable around and prefers to socialize with adults than other teens her age, and at school is reported to eat lunch in the teacher's lounge or school library.
She has a complicated relationship with her parents. She is often frustrated and bewildered by her mother Madison's recklessness and irresponsibility. Most of the time, she also acts more like the parent to her father, Sebastian, taking care of the bills and managing his bank accounts. Her frustration with her parents recently boiled over, and she proved she inherited her mother's fiery temper. Kaydence crushed her parents in a stunning rage, "I've been babysitting you and Mom my whole life!" She railed on Sebastian to "start acting more like a dad and less like an overgrown frat boy!" Madison wasn't spared either, "Mom was...coming home drunk every night with a different man from her parties."
Kaydence met her paternal great-grandmother, Jamie Jolina, on her class field trip to the mausoleum. Ms. Jolina was in ghost form and had appeared to Kaydence in broad daylight. Her reaction to this encounter was to attempt to learn all she could about her.
Because of her high scores on the Sims University Aptitude Test, she was permitted to attend college early. She has a dual enrollment at both the Community School for the Gifted in Sunset Valley and Sims University. She chose to major in technology and plans to return to school to get her fine arts degree.
In a wide-ranging interview with Sim Gossip Today, Kaydence said she did not want children.
Terry[]
She made a friend her age too, Terry Ho, from her creative writing class. Terry eventually developed a crush on the Starlight Shores transplant, but his romantic feelings remained unrequited for awhile as the pair remained inseparable friends, sharing books and movies and even Kaydence's dalliance with time traveling. When Terry asked Kaydence to the prom, though, she reluctantly accepted his invitation. The two shared a first kiss, and began dating soon after the prom.
However, there was one person who wasn't happy with the newfound relationship - Kaydence's cousin, Skylar, the 'queen bee' at CSG. She pretended to put on a happy face, but her envy showed through the smiles. Ever since Kaydence's arrival in Sunset Valley, Skylar harbored a deep-seeded resentment towards her, as to Skylar, her cousin seems to be 'perfect.'

Kaydence's job as a commercial actor at Plumbob Pictures got her noticed by Emmitt Starr Stanley, son of Alan Stanley and Emmy Starr and the showrunner at "As the Sims Turn," Plumbob Pictures' #1 prime time soap opera. He arranged an audition for her in front of himself and other senior staff. She hadn't initially intended to act professionally, but at the age of thirteen, Kaydence was cast as Alexa Barstow, a blond teen vixen who terrorizes the fictitious town of Kentwood Springs, after the actress (Tiara Angelista) who initiated the role departed.
The casting of Kaydence Westley-Plumb as Alexa was fairly controversial at the time, given the character's conception as a blond vixen and the actress being of mixed race. Also, there were questions about a thirteen-year-old playing a villainess. For the role, Kaydence donned a platinum-blond wig that obscured her chestnut locks. Once she got on set, though, there was no question about her talent. She made the role her own, even writing some of her own storylines, and eventually won two Golden Simmy awards as Best Supporting Actress in a Prime Time Show for the part. Though the show was initially created as a vehicle for Alanna Starr Stanley, Emmitt's younger sister, it was Kaydence who emerged as the show's breakout star.
Which is why when, nearly two years later, Kaydence left the show, it was such a blow. An incident when Kaydence passed out on set may have contributed to her departure. At the time Kaydence left "As the Sims Turn," she was balancing her high school coursework, after-school clubs, and her job on the show. Emmitt made one last-ditch effort to keep Kaydence on the show, an eleventh-hour meeting with her where he promised her greater creative control over her character in exchange for her return, but was unable to convince her not to leave.
The family biographer speculates that Kaydence may have simply been bored with the soap and was seeking a greater challenge. The biographer also suggested the actress may try a film or television project that dovetails more with her interests in science.
Currently she is writing, producing, directing, and starring in the movie version of her novel "Simtopia," which was also published when she was thirteen years old.
Kadyland[]
Kaydence, who had been writing since she was a child, got it in her head to turn the future world into the utopia she imagined from one of her childhood stories. She'd traveled to the future once before, when she spent time with her cousin Sierra. But the bright - and imaginative - Kaydence wanted to take it a step further. She decided to create a utopia, where everyone was blissfully happy. Along with this utopia she created a character called Astra Blythe with the superpower of making everyone blissfully happy. She went through the steps to create the utopia, and then, had to convince the pilots at the military base - among whom was her cousin, AJ - to spray the dew all over town.
The result of her work was "Kadyland," a pastel paradise full of enormous flowers with a mystical dew, crystal blue water, and above all, blissfully happy Sims. After creating her utopia, the teen began writing the first of several planned science-fiction books featuring this mystical fictitious land.
The book was under the name 'Simtopia.' Although Kaydence's mother, Madison, threatened to stop publication of the book, the novel was published as scheduled. She became one of the youngest published novelists in her famous family: Her great-aunt, the esteemed novelist Margaret Plumb, also published her first book while still in her teens. For comparison, the most famous novelist in her family, her father's older sister Savannah, didn't publish her first book until she was adventuring in Egypt, and at that time, she was a young adult.
As of this writing, Kaydence is working on a sequel.
College[]
Kaydence entered college while still in her teens, due to an aptitude test score of 2045. This high score netted her a full honors scholarship to the university , and made her one of the youngest pupils to ever become a student there. She chose to study technology for her degree. Her professor raves about her comments in class and her work ethic. She plans to eventually return to school to get her fine arts degree as well, in an effort to become a film director. Her plan to work behind the camera instead of continuing her on-camera acting career was met with some surprise by family members.

- Her alter ego is named Astra Blythe, the words meaning "star" and "happy." Literally translated, it denotes someone from the stars who wants to make people happy.
- She rolled the want to turn the future world into a utopia.
- She had a score over 2000 (highest is 2400) on the aptitude test; therefore she was permitted to attend college early. She maxed her score in the technology and fine arts sections, and nearly maxed out in business.
