Overview:

Karoline Uptown is a second-generation Uptown, who took part in buying more landmarks for the good and rich Uptown Empire. She is the daughter of the well-known Timothy-James Uptown, and the kind, loving Felicity Uptown. She resides in Riverview's Old Town Cemetery, next to her husband Josh Uptown and one of her daughters, Belle. She died of old age and overall had a successful but sorrow-filled life.

Early Years/Childhood:

Karoline Uptown was born on a beautiful summer's night, and according to the Riverview public, was just as pretty as the night was. She had dark, big purple eyes and straight, blonde hair. She was as pale as snow and had a row of freckles along the bridge of her piggy-nose.

Being born into a rich, rather well-known family was apparent to Karoline from a very young age. She figured out that her father didn't spend much time with her because he was the main income for their household, and he couldn't really stand children. She was only "allowed" to be made because her father would do anything for her lovely, kind mother. She grew up 95% alone with her mother, and therefore her traits are similar to her mother's, as she wanted to be just like her. Riverview loved her mother, while they tended to stay-away from her father at first, but in his later life; he gained respect.

At the age of five, Karoline was told that she was not to leave the house unless it was for school and after-school classes. Her parents couldn't afford Karoline to be bombarded with reporters, cameras and neighbours. Her father used to have a pretty bad reputation, and judging by the fact that her family owned most of Riverview and it's landmarks, the Uptown-Empire was a famous clan. Karoline didn't see her restrictions as house arrest, but as her mother merely making an effort to keep her safe. In school, Karoline quickly made friends and was very well-known and respected. Teacher's loved her hardworking attitude, and other students appreciated her honesty and kindness. She was an ideal replica of her mother.

Over the course of her childhood, Karoline got mainly A's on her report cards, and attended Ballet lessons everyday afterschool. She also won many awards for excellent tests and projects she had done with her peers. For other parents, she was the ideal child.

Teenage Years:

As a teenager, Karoline followed her mother's footsteps even more, and carried on the friendly, successful path she had led as a child. While her friends turned into rebels or didn't do their homework, Karoline exceeded in most lessons, especially Simlish, Science and Art. She maxed out her logic and writing points by the end of her teenaged years and was prom-queen for her senior-class formal prom.

Young Adulthood and Adulthood:

Karoline's parents both passed away very close together and left behind the huge Uptown Empire to be continued by Karoline Uptown herself. Karoline, feeling honoured, bought even more of the Riverview landmarks and houses, giving her enough money (combining it with the bucks her parents left behind) to not have to work for the rest of her life and overall have a comfortable, easy life. That is exactly what her parents had wanted from their naturally-gifted, beautiful child. Karoline, avoiding getting a job, started rearranging the farmhouse where the Uptown-Empire had started, and gave it a more modern, light look. She loved hanging out with her friends, as she was very well-known, and the occasional reporters didn't bother her one bit. Her favourite places to go during her long, unfilled days were the Wright Reading Room and all of the Riverview Parks. Which is exactly where she met her future husband, Josh Uptown (né McChina).

Flying-high and in the middle of her young adulthood, Karoline took another one of her afternoon strolls through a town just outside the main lake of Riverview. Some neighbours considered this part of Riverview to be abandoned and on the outskirts of town; some didn't even bother calling it Riverview at all. But Karoline did, as she owned the parks around the area and profited from all the money. The public say she just loved going on walks to see how her parks were doing, not to enjoy the fresh air or meet new people like she said she did.

On a spring's day,with the air crisp and clean she walked through the green fields of the park nearby an old, rusty trailer. Curious, she tiptoed over to the trailer, which was rumored to have an ugly, old man living inside it. As she tried peering through the windows, a hard finger tapped her on her petite, fragile shoulder. Screaming loudly, she turned around, prepared for the worst but just saw a very handsome, Asian-looking man standing infront of her. He didn't look particularly happy to see her, but she was happy to have met him. She had also just dispelled the rumor of an old man living in the trailer. A young, good-looking man was living there, and the trailer didn't look as bad as she had heard it did. The inside was rather nice, with exotic plants and nicely decorated walls.

After apologizing and getting to know the mysterious man, she bonded with him and soon the two, within a week, held a friendship some couldn't accomplish in a lifetime. They were inseparable. Karoline had got to know that the man was new in Riverview, and his parents had just died. His name was Josh McChina, and he wasn't bad at all. He was actually super nice...and clever too!

She learnt that he worked many different part-time jobs to earn money and that he wasn't very well off at the moment, but it was getting better. His only friends were now her, and the Crosby couple, who's house/trailer he had stayed at before getting enough money to buy his own little, run-down space. Eager to help, and having a lot of money in reserve, Karoline offered to give up some of the Uptown-Empire's money so he could get a better life, but he polietly declined...he had a better offer. After just four weeks of knowing each other, and not even dating yet, Josh proposed to Karoline. She accepted fully, under one condition that he must become an Uptown, not her a McChina, so she could carry on the empire. The public were shocked to hear she had married a lower-class, new man; but at the same time liked him, and over the next couple of months before their grand wedding, he had made many new friends and gotten a better job as a Coffee Courier in the Business Career track. The business builing was also owned by the Uptown Empire, and when he got promoted, made some of the co-workers jealous, and spill rumors about Karoline bailing him out, and their wedding being fake...which it of course wasn't. The wedding took place at their house, with only the most exclusive, closest friends and lasted half an hour, then it was official; they were now Karoline & Josh Uptown, the successful, Uptown-Empire's pride.
