In Sunset ValleyEdit
When Janet lived in Sunset Valley, she was employed as a firefighter and originally wasn't on good terms with June. She met her (then) husband, Taylor, and had an affair with him. In this time, Janet found a job as a Carnivorous Plant Tender at Sim Labs. Soon, June filed for divorce and she eloped with Taylor. However, their marriage was also short lived as he also cheated on her.
Reconciling with JuneEdit
After her divorce was finalized, Janet and June reconciled and became friends. However, they felt that there was more than friendship between them. One day, they finally shared a kiss and started dating. The rest is history.
Move to RiverviewEdit
Janet enjoyed her job, but the Sunset Valley division of Sim Labs was merging with the Riverview division of Sim Labs. However, June agreed to move there with her since she felt it would be a nice change of scenery.
Janet didn't rush into marriage (not wanting to repeat the mistake she made with Taylor). They lived together for two years before June proposed to her. They had a small ceremony with their closest family and friends.
A little while after the wedding, June and Janet decided they were ready for children of their own. They adopted a baby boy, who they named Dane.
By the time Dane became a teenager, Justine Schwarz announced her divorce from her (now ex) husband, Mike. Janet and June gladly took her and her daughter, Starr, in. She and June saw her as the daughter they never had, and would always lend a helping hand to family.
Janet's elder years were off to an okay start. She had recently retired from her job in the science career, and had more time to focus on hobbies. Life was going good. One night, however, she, Janet, Justine, and Starr left Dane home alone while they went to go see a movie. They came home to find the kitchen engulfed in flames. But it was too late; Dane was gone. It was a sad time for everybody. However, Janet and her wife stuck together and slowly managed to cope with their son's death. Taking their accumulated wealth, June and Janet started, in his honor, The Dane Straight Foundation, a charity raising money to educate underprivileged kids.
However, thanks to science, June was able to "resurrect" Dane, bringing his ghost into the same plane of existence. A year later, Janet attended his wedding with Leanna. However, Janet began to feel faint during the ceremony and passed out.
Her body was taken to County Care General Hospital. Janet was pronounced dead on arrival, with natural causes cited as the cause of death. Janet lived to the tender old age of 87, and was survived by her wife, June, and her son, Dane.
