Jackson Mua was born in 1999 to Fiona and Patrick Mua. The Mua family were extremely religious. As Jack was growing up, he appeared to be extremely happy. But deep down he felt something was different to him and the other boys.
Sexual identity[]
At age 11, Jack realised that he was homosexual. He had no one to tell, as he didn't have that many friends, and there was no way he was going to tell this to his deeply religious mother, Fiona. He didn't need to worry about telling his father, as he had left the Mua's shortly after Jack started school. Jack had no outlet for his emotion and had nothing to turn to.
Makeup usage[]
At age 15, Jack purchased his very first set of cosmetic makeup. He applied it and found out he was extremely gifted in the cosmetology department. He would apply makeup with accurate precision almost daily while his mother worked, if ever it was found, he would claim he was keeping it for a friend.
Mother's disapproval[]
While assuming his mother was still at work, Jack applied his makeup naturally as he did. He blared music up on his speakers and danced around the house. Fiona returned home after being extremely sick at work and was horrified to see what her son was doing. She sat him down and told him how unacceptable wearing makeup was for a boy. Jack cried for three hours straight; his mother found out everything.
