Iva Delgapho (née Romanelli) is a Sim created by Facebookerror. The grandmother of the wealthy
Henrietta Goth, Iva wasn't always known as a caring, devout housewife.
Iva was a woman known for her passionate love of gardening. The Delgapho Family home was always filled with corn in need of shucking, apples in need of preserving. Iva had a softspot for anyone that was willing to help in the garden. When she was gardening or cooking, she always enjoyed a nice sit in the hot tub.
Electronics were something that Iva hated. The family owned the cheapest, oldest television available, and she never would even lay an eye on it, preferring to be outside. However, Iva did love her 'music player', the one electronic Iva didn't almost bash to pieces with her meat tenderizer.
Iva always wanted the best for children, enrolling in as many clubs at school as possible. Even though she wanted them too, she knew her children wouldn't stay home and help in the garden, so she did her best to set them on the right path in life.
The Sims 3[]
Iva is extremely jealous that her husband is at work all the time and no longer has time to garden with her. And, her children are far too lazy to even get off the couch. Over the years, she and Alva began to grow apart, the only time they spend together being in the hot tub. Arguing was a daily thing for them. Iva was looking for some one who would actually spend time with her.
When Iva heard that Ginny McDermott was expecting, she decided to be friendly and bake her neighbor an Apple Cobbler (made from her own apples, of course). When she brought the cobbler to the McDermott household, she was greeted by Ginny's husband, Luke. Just from looking at him, Iva could tell her was a farmer. She ended up staying the whole day just talking to Luke. Against her own will, Iva developed a crush on Luke.
Iva felt extremely bad about her feelings for Luke, and hoped to forget them by having a romantic evening with her husband for once. Alva came home, and refused to do anything, wanting to fish a little, have dinner, and go to bed. Knowing their relationship couldn't be salvaged, Iva called Luke the next morning, inviting him over. She began to flirt with him, and before she knew it they were making out in the hot tub. Iva and Luke were sitting in the hot tub cuddling, when they heard Alva's motorcycle pulling up. Iva moved over to a different side of the hot tub, and Alva just jumped in and sat right next to her, Luke still in the tub.
After the hot tub incident, Alva realized who her heart rested with... Alva. She confessed her adultery to Alva, and eventually they repaired their relationship. She also broke things off with Luke, devastating him.
The Sims 2[]
Having resided in Riverblossom Hills, Iva did reconcile with her husband and the couple remained married until his death. Ive lived to see the births of all three of her grandchildren having passed away while Dana was a toddler.
Trivia[]
Iva didn't have many friends in town, preferring to keep to herself and her neighbors. The few friends she had were: Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes and Constance Shelley.
