Gorda Syde was born to Marsha and Aaron Syde. She was raised with love from her parents. Her parents were both fat, which caused her to become overweight as well. Marsha and Aaron taught Gorda that body size did not matter and love mattered.
They lived in Sweden. She was a graduated from high school with a B. She didn't have much of a love life when she was a young adult due to her weight. However, when she was about 47 she met a American man named Heathcliff Hall, who didn't seem to care about her weight. They fell in love, and got married. It wasn't until after they had Arthur and Corridor they realized, she was much, much older than him. When they had first met, she was 47 and Heathcliff was 18. This was against their values and got a mutual divorce. Leaving Corridor with Gorda and Arthur with Heathcliff.
After Sims 3[]
She is a very perplexing woman. She moved to California just recently to investigate the murder of her son. The murderer lives in this town. She seems to be stalking Nia. Nia saw her on her way to school, and even in the school. She has a very miserable look to herself normally. Most likely due to her son's death. It is unknown where she came from or why she is stalking Nia.
In Chapter 9, she is revealed to be Arthur and Corridor's mom, and the grandmother of Maverick, Fiona, and Blair. She has forceful powers and sent Nia, Gregory and Astrid to a torture chamber.
Trivia[]
Her first name is Spanish for "fat" (feminine).
She immigrated from Sweden and is not very good with English, hence her saying "You are the Nia", and "Why honey, I'm a nightmare dressed like a screensaver." She has a Swedish accent as well.
Mistakes[]
In After Sims 3, Harmony states that Gorda moved next door. However, Dominick Klein and his family already lived in that house.
