Franklin Henson was created by Starmoonie. Franklin's biggest fear of when his family moved to Sunset Valley, that his son Ben would get into even more trouble. He works in the Science career buts sometimes put fun before his job.
As a child, Franklin was taught to enjoy working at his own pace. He didn't see too much in his lines of work and thought having a bit fun instead of taking things seriously would teach his kids not to be so up tight. He then became a workaholic because cut backs at his job and forced him to stay at work even over night. When Ben was born he made sure he would put his family before work, but it seems this didn't happen as well as he thought. Ben became rebellious through his years even after the birth of Joana, and the family had to move else where because of the trouble he caused. Franklin knew he either had to fix his son's attitude, or send him straight to military school.
Life in the Sims 3
As he moved his family to Sunset Valley, Franklin was determined to change his son's attitude with some down right positive discipline. Often he would ask for advice from Judy Bunch, a co-worker who also had to deal with a little trouble maker of her own. He decided to go with her advice but the result failed. Ben was a bit too much and he decided to send him to military school after all.
Months after Joana grew into a teen, Ben came home as an adult. He was still a bit rough to handle but then and a change of heart. This made Franklin happy to see his son being responsible and take life a bit more seriously. After a couple of nights with his family, Ben was eaten by their cowplant Billy. Franklin soon became depressed and retired from his job after the funeral. He wasn't the same after and became a bit grumpy after his lost.
Life in the Sims 2
There isn't much of a story I could give him in the Sims 2 but he was buried in a local graveyard next to his wife and their son.

Franklin is based off of the famous Henson who created the Muppets and Sesame Street.
He was supposed to be employed in the Journalism career instead of Science.
He was supposed to have the childish trait but I replaced it with the workaholic trait.
