Desdemona Capp Biography Desdemona is determined to become the queen bee of Veronaville High. She has an unnatural liking for strawberry-flavored candies. Desdemona Capp is one of the four children of Goneril Capp and her husband Albany. She only recently grew up to become a Teen, and is beginning her high school career with a quest to become the most popular girl in Veronaville's public high school system.

Unlike most of her siblings, Desdemona doesn't particularly mind the crowdedness of her parents' house, although she does often disagree with her brother Hal. The most irritating thing her parents can do to her is forbid parties, which they don't usually do as long as her grades stay high. She gets along best with her older sister Miranda, whom she idolized as a child. Miranda often helps plan Desdemona's social events.

Following the fire at Desdemona's house, which was set by a member of the Monty crime family, Desdemona has become a little paranoid and fiercely protective of her siblings, even Hal, and does her best to keep them away from the Montys who attend their school. She's especially leery of Mercutio, since he's not only a Monty, but Miranda's ex-boyfriend.

Desdemona's classmates often stereotype her as a dumb blonde due to her hair color, obsession with popularity, and love for the color pink, but she is actually very smart and gets excellent grades. She plans to study Political Science in college and hopes to one day become a member of SimNation Congress. Becoming the Queen Bee of Veronaville High is just her test run.

Trivia

• Desdemona's name comes from Greek and roughly translates to "unfortunate." Since my version of her has a fairly good life, this is rather ironic... so far.
• I edited Desdemona's hair genetics so that she no longer has genes for red hair. She is now homozygous for blond hair.
