After a week they got married and she was pregnant with Thea. Thea is her favourite, secretly, as Thea will do anything for her mother, especially after her death. When Thea was a toddler Codeyla got pregnant with the twins. From then on everything was fine, until her death.

When the children were at their friends Codeyla revealed to her husband that she was originally from Sunset Valley, thinking that that wouldn't anger him at all, it was just something that popped into her head. She was wrong. Due to his insanity he took this badly, and he got up and killed her.
