Before Cecylia, there was a family of three: the mother, Calypso, the father, Jonathan, and the son, Ignatius. Each a member of the Croupier dynasty, their specialization lies in the field of dealing secrets and forbidden knowledge - giving them an undoubtable hand in the schemes of neighborhood conflict. Most enigmatically of all was the series of deaths that, according to rumor, occurred on the very Croupier homestead. Gossip states that the Grim Reaper himself lurked within those lonely halls...
Alas, on the dim night of a full moon, Cecylia Croupier came to be.
The last born heiress to the vast Croupier fortune, Cecylia was a happy baby born into a cut-throat reality... not that it bothered her much. Ignatius, her older brother, was always attentive to her demands. While the seemingly endless halls of the mysterious Croupier mansion proved lonesome, Cecylia compensated by creating imaginary friends and elaborate tales, making her an avid storyteller. According to the ramblings of their retired maid, the tales were a bit too realistic at times.
Aristocratic in manner of dress and style, Cecylia had few friends due to this 'snobby' factor - excluding the fact she seemed to be a magnet for bad luck, having broken her arms and legs on a multitude of unfortunate instances. She earned the nickname 'Rabbit's Foot' as a jab at her infamously terrible luck.
Cecylia held her head high to find friendship prospects - especially in the wealthy promise of the infamous Malcolm Landgraab. She quickly fell head-over-heels for the smart-mouthed Landgraab, finding his disposition for independence soothing in the material politics of wealth. Hopelessly bounded to a crush on the older teenager, her inexplicable affection lasts well into the future.
Inevitably, Cecylia's childhood years are also the times in which Cecylia meets the distinguished Alexander Goth. Alexander and Cecylia met entirely by accident, as she was dragged along by her mother to investigate the haunted Goth household - but the first introduction hardly went well. Hopelessly lost in the Goth's aged cemetery, Alexander had to lead her away to safety, as Cecylia had fallen and broken her leg. While a painful maneuver, Cecylia immediately dashed away from Alexander, leaving him to wonder if the mysterious girl was a ghost... Supposedly, this instance was a target of Alexander's growing fascinations with the occult.
Cecylia is forced to unenroll from Sim State at her family's discretion. Not only was her funding withdrawn, her parents were arrested! There's a traitor amongst the Croupier lineage, one who gave away the family secrets and illicit projects... Cecylia immediately faces persecution. Alienated from her family's fortune and name, her status as a 'Croupier' is permanently revoked.
Homeless and penniless, Cecylia becomes well-acquainted with the streets. An older Alexander Goth finds her and offers her shelter until she can get back on her feet. The two hit it off especially well, as Alexander recognizes her from his past.
A few months later, the two marry on the Goth estate.
Cecylia becomes reaquainted with Malcolm Landgraab as he tries to swindle the Goth family into a business deal concerning a Nightclub. Despite her long-term affections for the business-savvy heir, she undermines the one-sided deal with the alias of 'Rabbit's Foot'. She continues to secretly use this alias as the rival of Malcolm Landgraab's more illegal deals. As for why, a common interpretation is to preserve her husband's 'innocence'.
