Cassandra Goth is the daughter of Mortimer Goth and Bella Goth, grandchild of Gunther and Cornelia Goth, Simis and Jocasta Bachelor, niece of Michael Bachelor, grand-niece of Agnes Crumplebottom, sister of Alexander Goth, wife of Adrian Gardener, mother of Aria Goth, aunt of Edgar Goth, grandmother of Helena Goth, great-aunt of Dexter Goth. Cassandra did not change her name upon getting married, at her new husband's request.

Appearance

Cassandra wears similar to what she wore as a young adult and adult, but more stylish and less skimpy. Her wardrobe is mostly black and purple.

History

Baby

Cassandra didn't see much of her parents - not that she understood much of what was going on. Agnes, Cornelia and Michael took care of her. Sometimes the ghost of Victor Goth would pick her up out of her crib and play with her. Cassandra didn't notice that Cornelia passed away, because she was too young to understand.

Toddler

Cassandra saw more of her father and mother. Mortimer was always reading to her, which she liked. Both of her mother and father taught her many things. She enjoyed playing with Michael. But saw nothing of Agnes. One day, Mortimer brought the ghost of Gunther into her nursery, and tried to explain that this was her grandfather, Gunther. Cassandra did not mention that Gunther was one of the many ghosts that visited her room to play with her. Bella carried her around the house sometimes, to show her the other rooms in the old manor, and talked to her. Cassandra was just happy to have more people to talk to.

Her mother Bella started to gain weight. Cassandra didn't understand why. Bella carried her out of the nursery, to sit in the rocking chair in the parlour. There Bella told Cassandra that soon the stork would come to visit them and bring with it a new baby brother to play with.

Child

Cassandra got a huge surprise at her birthday party. Bella was in a lot of pain. Her father rushed Bella off to the hospital. Michael watched over the party. When her parents returned, they had a baby boy named Alexander with them. He was introduced to her as her new younger brother.

Right away, Cassandra knew she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps. She even told him that she wants to be a doctor just like him, when she is grown up. Sometimes she plays chess with her father, when he plays during his free time. Once she tried reading one of his work medical journals but didn't understand a word of it.

Even Cassandra was not blind to her uncle's longing to be with the ghost Lolita Goth. She tried to cheer him up by saving him some hotdogs for when he came home from work, but it did not work.

Cassandra found it difficult sharing a room with her baby brother. Especially when he cried in the middle of the night wanting a clean diaper, a bottle, or just a cuddle.

While she was in the kitchen doing her homework, Agnes passed away of old age. Seeing the whole thing frightened her. Ghosts were always nice sims, that came to talk to her. Seeing the end of a sim's life gave her a phobia of death.

Teen

Cassandra realised that she did not fit in. She had no friends outside of the household, and believed that only her family and ancestors understood her. She studied with her father during his free time, because she wanted to be a doctor just like him. Her hope, was that one day she could stop death. Then she would never have to say goodbye to anyone.

Taking an interest in potions, Cassandra mentioned in passing to Bella, that she wanted to study alchemy. She came home from school the following day, to find that her mother had an alchemy station set up in the attic. Cassandra studied the subject with interest, hoping to find a potion that would stop death.

Worried that she might have gotten food poisoning, one afternoon, Cassandra went to the hospital for a check up. The test came back all clear. As she was leaving, she noticed a mysterious man crossing the road. They never got a chance to speak, but she could tell that something was not entirely normal about him.

Since no one was using the office, Cassandra turned it into her own private alchemy lab. Her skills improved, but she did not come close to discovering an elixir to stop death.

Young Adult

Cassandra got herself a job at the hospital, hoping to help the sick. She soon won over all her co-workers, and her boss. She was given a promotion within days of starting, to reward her hard work. While she was doing her rounds, she saw that mysterious man again, Adrian Gardener. He asked her out. At first, she was going to refuse because she had chosen not to date anyone. But, from the moment she looked into his eyes, she felt dazed, and couldn't stop thinking about him. She accepted.

Adrian took out on a few dates, that were always at night. Soon they fell in love, and decided to go steady. Cassandra considered asking him to move in, but it would be embarrassing to expect him to sleep in the same room as herself and her brother. Michael gave up his room for her, and became room mates with Alexander. Adrian moved in with her.

One night, Adrian and Cassandra took a walk down the beach. Adrian being a proper sim, suggested they do so in their formal wear. Quite spontaneously, they decided to get married. For her safety and for their future children, he asked her not to take his lastname. Cassandra obliged. She knew the dangers of his job.

Parenthood

When she became pregnant, Cassandra did not tell her family about her secret marriage. She understood why her family were not so happy with the news, but she understood her husband's reasoning, and liked having a secret no one else knew.

Because the house was already full, Cassandra decided to set up a crib in the corner of her own room. She did not want to use the old Goth crib. She brought a new one. Everything was set out for the new arrival. She read both pregnancy books from the store.

While she was setting down a new fairy teddy bear in the crib, she went into labour. Adrian rushed her to the hospital. The baby was born a normal sim, they named her Aria.

When they were alone, Adrian bit Cassandra, beginning the transformation into a vampire.

Cassandra loved taking care of her daughter. Spending every minute making sure Aria had the best of everything. At one point she even considered giving up her job, because there was plenty of time for a career after her daughter had grown up.

She was unaware of Alexander's relationship until the wedding took place. She was present at the wedding, and a witness to all the drama that unfolded.

Mortimer gave her a vial of potent cure elixir, and told her not to fear death. Explaining that just because sims die, does not mean they are gone forever. For a moment, she considered using it on herself, but there was someone else that deserved it more. Adrian had never known what it was like to walk in the sun and live a normal life. She threw the vial on him, and cured his vampirism.

Her father saw what she had done, and he told her that he understood why she had given it to Adrian, for that reason, she would understand what he was about to do. He threw a second vial on her, and cured her vampirism.

Adult

Cassandra mourned Michael's passing with the rest of her family. She attended Alexander's wedding. When Jenna announced that she was pregnant, Cassandra set up the Goth family crib for her.

Aria was growing up so fast. Cassandra longed for the days when she could carry her daughter around. To make Aria happy, she brought her a guitar to help her with her future carrier.

Cassandra was present when Bella passed away, she watched on in horror. She tried to help her father come to terms with it, but he was beyond her help.

It almost destroyed her, when her father passed away. The only comfort for her, was knowing her father was in a much better place.

Cassandra worked hard on her career, and reached the top of the career ladder. She enjoyed girly days with her daughter, and supported her in the start of her career.

Elder

Now in her golden years, Cassandra wishes that her young adult daughter would stop partying and settle down. Cassandra and Adrian are going through a bit of a rough patch, but they will sort it out together. They always do.

Having fulfilled her lifelong wish, Cassandra finds herself extremely bored. Being an elder herself, she understands why her father and uncle seemed to lose the will to live later in life.

She is at the top of her career ladder, with nowhere to go from there. Her daughter does not show any signs of starting a family, so there is no grandchildren to look forward to meeting. No matter what she tries with Adrian, they just drift apart, then fix it again, and drift away once more.

All that is left for her now, is wondering when Grim Reaper will come calling. Her biggest regret is allowing her father to cure her vampirism. She would still be a young adult now, if she were still a vampire.

Cassandra could not believe her eyes, when Edgar was able to put out a fire with an ice spell. Her nephew was a witch. Alchemy would help him, she thought. Without telling him, she unlocked the door to her alchemy lab, to allow him access to it.

Being a doctor, she knew the signs that Jenna started to show. There would soon be the pitter-patter of tiny Goth feet. When the baby was born, Jenna told Cassandra to raise the baby as her own. Cassandra jumped at the chance. She regretted not having more children.

Raising Georgina brought Cassandra and Adrian back together, restoring their marriage. They both doted on her. All of her attention was so focused on her new step-daughter, that she had not noticed that Aria had become pregnant.

She only found out, when Aria went into labour. Cassandra loved holding her granddaughter Helena. As happy as she was, sadness soon came. Adrian passed away of old age. She loved him, but she knew that she would meet him again, because just like her father had once told her, no one is ever completely gone. She was just as surprised as the rest of the family, when Edgar announced his marriage.

Cassandra decided to retire from her job, so she could spend more time with her granddaughter. 

Death

Cassandra's plans were not to be. A few short hours after she decided to retire, Cassandra passed away of old age.  All of the family gathered around her grave in the family graveyard to mourn her passing.

Trivia

• Almost all of the ghosts in the Goth graveyard did keep coming into her nursery to talk to her, except for Lolita Goth, Gretle Goth and Erik Darling (he spent all of his time with Agnes.)
• Cassandra's last name did change to Gardener when they got married, but I changed it back at City Hall.
