Cassandra Dreamer (nee Goth) is the oldest child of the late Mortimer and Bella Goth. She is also the wife of Darren Dreamer, the mother of Dylan Dreamer, and the stepmother of Dirk Dreamer. In addition, she is the older sister of Alexander, and the older half-sister of Francesca. Dina Goth is her stepmother, but Cassandra doesn't really like her (though she is more civil to her than Alexander). She was also once engaged to Don Lothario, until he left her at the alter.

Cassandra was always a gloomy child, but she adored her family. When her mother disappeared suspiciously, she was horrified, but she forced herself to be strong and help her father and brother get through it. However, she always longed to have an "average" family, and she eventually started dating Don Lothario, who was having many affairs behind her back. He had even tried to make out with her mother before she disappeared.

Cassandra was sure she was meant to be with Don, but when they were meant to get married, he left her at the alter and broke off their engagement. She was left depressed by this, and was comforted by her father, brother, and her friend, Darren Dreamer. At the time, Cassandra didn't know that Darren had feelings for her. However, the two started spending more time together after Cassandra's breakup with Don, and they became much closer. It was then that Darren confessed his love for Cassandra, and the two began a relationship.

Cassandra was worried that Darren's son, Dirk, would dislike her and think she was trying to take his late mother's place, but the two found that they got along quite well. A little while later, Darren proposed to Cassandra and the two became happily married. Before the ceremony, Cassandra was a little worried that she would get left at the alter again, but Darren assured her that he would never do that to her.

After the marriage, Cassandra brought quite a lot of money to the Dreamer household, allowing Darren to pursue his art career without having to worry. Not long after they were married, Cassandra discovered she was pregnant, and she and Darren were overjoyed. She soon gave birth to a baby boy who she and Darren named Dylan. Mortimer only met Dylan once before he passed away of old age.

Cassandra is still furious at Don for leaving her at the alter, and will occasionally come to his house at nighttime, stealing his newspapers and kicking over his garbage can. Cassandra occasionally comes back to her old home to visit her brother and half-sister.
