Carson Rogers was a culinary Sim who resided in Willow Creek. He was married to Bianca Black, and had a total of four children (twins John and Jennifer, Quincy, and Nikki) and six grandchildren.

Early life[]

Carson Rogers was born outside of Willow Creek to two unknown parents; both of them died when he was in his teenage years. As a result, he lived on his own for a while until he entered college. During his time in college, he began to become interested in cooking. As a result, he started buying his own food to cook his own meals with his parents' money. This eventually paid off, as he found out that his own meals were cheaper than the food his fellow classmates purchased.

College career[]

Carson, who graduated from high school one year early, began dating Bianca Black in his sixth semester at college; the two met each other when they were assigned as partners to complete an explanatory final research assignment in a high-level English course two semesters earlier. He initially realized that Bianca was not a suitable partner for him due to the fact that she had similar problems. However, he eventually invited her over for non-school related reasons, and they would hang out in the college's gym when school was not in session. Romantic dinners at a fancy restaurant close to the college eventually followed.

Carson proposed to Bianca at college graduation, who accepted the proposal on the condition that the two marry as soon as possible. The couple married six months after the graduation, but Carson did not have enough money to pay his parents' house bills and announced the sale of that house one month later. Bianca was living in a rented apartment at the time of the sale, but ultimately decided to buy a small house in Willow Creek. The sale of his parents' house was delayed when Bianca became pregnant with her two twins. She gave birth to John Rogers and Jennifer Rogers shortly thereafter.

Both John and Jennifer lived with Carson in his parents' house until shortly after kindergarten ended, when Bianca raised enough money from her previous part-time job to get out of her apartment. As a result, Carson finally had enough money to sell the house, which was placed in a blind auction.

Career[]

Carson and Bianca used the money they received from the sale of the house to move to Willow Creek, which was where Bianca wanted to buy a house in after she graduated. Since they had about §5,000 left in their funds at the end of the sale, he decided to apply for a position at Make a Dish, which was ultimately accepted.

During the early part of his career, Carson was first assigned as a dishwasher; he did enough work that would make him eligible for promotion to an assistant chef at one of the chain's locations. His work as a chef was hard to complete at first, as he had to build skill in cooking and gourmet cooking in order for him to remain eligible. The back half of his young adult years saw himself promoted to a pastry chef at Make a Dish's secondary location in suburban Willow Creek; he would specialize in pastries and Asian fare.

With only a little amount of time left before Carson became an adult, his wife gave birth to two other children within that short span: a boy named Quincy and a girl named Nikki. Carson found out that he had to take care of four children, which would turn out to be hard in the first place. After Nikki became a preteen, the family announced that they would not have any more children.

Upon becoming an adult, Carson got promoted to the main flagship restaurant of Make a Dish in downtown Willow Creek, becoming a sous chef in the progress. His ultimate goal is to become a celebrity chef before he retires after a long career. His first two children, John and Jennifer, would embark on careers in the computer programming and business fields. He would eventually get promoted to a celebrity chef late in his adult stage and celebrated that occasion days after his promotion to such position. John and Jennifer would have sons of their own at that time, making Carson a grandfather for the first time in his life.

Later life and death[]

Carson decided to retire from the culinary career shortly after becoming an elder due to him having achieved the highest ranking possible. Immediately afterwards, he started serving as a part-time fast food employee at Make a Dish Express, a new restaurant chain that was created while he was employed as a sous chef. At that job, he continued to cook food occasionally; however, his cooking abilities began to become limited in nature due in part to his advancing age.

As soon as Carson reached the top level in the part-time fast food career, concerns over Carson's health began to arise. As a result, Carson decided to retire from his fast food job so that he could focus more on Quincy and Nikki, who both recently finished high school. However, shortly before the retirement was announced, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This diagnosis caused Bianca to retire from her style influencer career at that time. Carson was able to get enough treatment to extend his life by a short amount due to his active lifestyle, but his cancer returned shortly after Bianca died. While Carson was undergoing further treatment for pancreatic cancer, he received his fifth and sixth grandchildren, Samuel (who became Quincy's first son) and Pamela (who became Nikki's first daughter). However, he was told that his cancer was terminal and that he only had a few weeks to live. Quincy subsequently announced that Carson would not receive any more treatment due to his frail health.

Carson died of pancreatic cancer shortly after Samuel and Pamela became toddlers. His final resting place is at the Willow Creek Cemetery.
