Bianca Monty is the title character of the StrangeTown Monty (STM) machinima series.
But a Mad Scientist decided to transform Ms Monty from a fairy-tale extra into a full-fledged science fiction leading lady. With this show, he sought to free Underdog(*) Bianca from Overlord(*) Cassandra's shadow, so that Bianca becomes important and interesting in her own right.
STM Bianca may actually be more similar to her Sims 3 Monte Vista counterpart, that little girl with the traits Genius, Bookworm, Ambitious. In the STM Universe, Monte Vista begins with child Claudio, toddler Antonio, and unborn baby Bianca.
In STM, the more emphasized aspects of Bianca's personality are her intelligence, open-mindedness, warm-heartedness and determination. But her overly trusting nature could get her into trouble, especially in such a "dangerous" town. Her choice of Strangetown suggests that she is not seeking the "comfort" of a "normal" suburb or city.
Bianca's decision to move to Strangetown is deliberate - an almost instinctive reaction to learning of Kent Capp's fate in the Veronaville Disaster. While seeking a fresh start, she is careful not to lose touch with her brother, Antonio Monty. However, she does not appear to be very attached to the rest of the Monty family.
In Season 2, Bianca is a librarian at Hyde Dynamic. She did not have formal training in science, but knows enough to feel comfortable working in a science facility.
STM is constructed in such a way that the audience shares Bianca's perspective, knowing only as much as she does. Will our protagonist be happier in Season 2 than she ever was in Season 1?
Alternate Universe (PVCS vs STM)Edit
In the Football Universe, Bianca was a starting striker for Team STM in the 2015 Match.
Her son, Horatio, became her successor in the 2035 Match.
See Kent Monty for Bianca's husband in this universe.
Alternate Universe (STSYC)Edit
As a Veronaville native, Bianca does not fight in the Battle of Strangetown, but makes a cameo appearance.
(*) The author considers Pleasantview premade characters to be "Overlords" in terms of mainstream popularity.
Veronaville characters, especially those who started in the Family Bin; and to a lesser extent, the Strangetown characters, are "Underdogs" compared to Pleasantview characters.
Hyde has a LONG history of helping characters who "start last" to "finish in front" -- so perhaps STM is a Sims "Underdog Challenge"?
