Bernadette Carr née. Arch is the on off wife of Joe Carr until he fell for Lupin instead leaving her depressed and single. She felt very alone without Joe and wished he was back with her and not Lupin.
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Bernadette's former life without Joe except that she was an orphan. Also she was very lonely as she was never adopted and didn't know what a real family was like so she believed it must be a terrible thing as she didn't have it and after all, she'd been punished enough as an orphan so believed that fate was doing her a favour.
Adulthood[]
As an adult, Bernadette was sent away from the adoption home as she was too old and she now had a problem, she had nowhere to go. She checked into a Bed and Breakfast and got a job as a commercial actress. She was successful enough that she managed to get enough money to pay the rent for her new one bedroom apartment but she didn't have enough for anything more than necessities so her house was rather plain and bare. One day, she met a man called Joe at work and they were immediately attracted to each other. He asked her out and she happily agreed. After they'd been going out for a year, Joe proposed and Bernadette said Yes. They held the wedding shortly after on Twikki Island on the beach and had a great married life for a while. However it didn't last and they grew apart. They soon got a divorce but they remained friends and later remarried as they still had feelings. This kept happening until one day, Joe ended it by falling in love with married Lupin Miller and staying with her after her divorce. Bernadette didn't want to stay sinle but was too bitter to find somebody else and accept that Joe had moved on from her and their weird relationship. Bernadette refused to give up Joe and stalked him. One day, she saw on the news that Lupin Miller was dead, she was ecstatic! Until she found herself in the police station under suspicion of murder... Bernadette was moody. She didn't like this cell and constantly caused havoc. Until one day, Bernadette was released and left quickly. She guessed that Ember had been framed. In fact, she knew... (But she wasn't going to tell anybody). Bernadette spoke with Joe who said that he'd be leaving town for a bit to go to his hometown, Pleasantview. Bernadette asked to go with him as she was worried that she'd get retaken back into Prison. Joe agreed and said they'd leave in a month or so. However, their plans were interrupted... The station master said that there would be no trains for Pleasantview for at least a few months. Bernadette was furious, she felt like somebody was sabotaging her plans on purpose! Why would anybody want to stop her beloved Joe and her from leaving? In the mean time, Joe invited her to Cafe L'amore for dinner. Bernadette was happy about this. He was hers again. Dinner was great but she was a little curious when Joe told her he'd catch her up in a minute. She walked to the end of the road and turned the corner, waiting for Joe. She waited a few minutes when she heard Joe's voice shouting. She ran back to find Joe handcuffed. He hurt her badly when he told her that he never loved her, he loved a woman called Bella. Bernadette should've walked off, but she was obsessed. She couldn't lose Joe again. She walked up to the Officer as if to ask something but instead stamped hard on his foot with her heel. She pulled Joe and they ran for it. She was finally with Joe but life does not always work out. She and Joe were hit by a van. This was how they died...
