Ariella lived in Newcrest with her then husband; Nicholas and their young son; Aiden. She had a very happy life with her family, but was also a bit of a party animal.
One night a few years ago, Ariella went to a house party in Oasis Springs with a few friends whilst Nicholas stayed at home. However, that night Ariella never returned home... She went missing. Police searched for her day and night but never found a trace of her, until one day she was found... Well, her body was found, washed up in a river in Oasis Springs. Nicholas was distraught, and his son -who was only a Child back then- was too distraught over the loss of his mother.
The Police search for a missing Sim was finished. However, the search for a murderer had just begun. It was obvious Ariella had been murdered, but by who? Where did the murder happen? When did the murder happen? Years passed and the murder of Ariella Thea was never solved, and the case was closed. However, Ariella's son is determined to find out the truth, and spends most of his teenage life looking for answers. Could the ghost of Ariella help solve this mystery?

Ariella's Surname "Thea" is actually pronounced "Thay-er" and is commonly mispronounced as "Thee-a"
Ariella's maiden name "Rosebud" is taken from the classic "Rosebud" money cheat from The Sims.
This cheat returned in The Sims 4, as did Ariella.
