Abigail “Abby” Hallaway was a witch who lived in Moonlight Falls. She is the older sister of April Hallaway, Ava Hallaway, and Arielle Stevens. She died months after the wedding of her sister, April, due to being thrown off by a vampire to a rock, breaking her head.

Early LifeEdit

Abigail was born to two witches, Alexandra Hallaway and Jeremy Bennett on 1980. She was the couple’s first child, and the oldest of the sisters. As a toddler, she exhibits great magic, like her grandmother did, being able to make her toys disappear and reappear. Her grandmother sees this potential, and wants to teach her magic, but her parents decided to keep her away from magic as much as possible, trying to give her a normal, magic-free life. When she was just 4, while her sister is only a year old, her parents split. She doesn’t remember much about what happened, but she remembers her mother crying in her bedroom. Three years after the birth of Ava Hallaway, her father reconciled with her mother and he reappeared in her life. But sadly, when she was 9, her parents were killed by a vampire whom her father cheated out on a business transaction. Their death affected Abby greatly, as it traumatized her for life. As a child, Abby constantly bicker with her sisters, especially with Ava, and April would generally act as a mediator between the two. If the sisters fight a lot, their grandmother would cast spells to stop the bicker and make them forget their fight.

Teenage YearsEdit

Abby became an overachiever as a teenager, exceling in her grades and was very popular at school, being a head cheerleader and has many friends. She met and dated Zane Michaels and they went to prom together, but they broke up right after they graduated, when Zane decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a cop.

Abby went to college, and graduated with a business degree. She worked at the same place her father worked, recognized as the daughter of Jeremy Bennett. After her grandmother got a heart attack and died, she lived with April at the manor together, while Ava had moved away to a small house a year before.

Discovering magicEdit

After the death of their grandmother, Ava moved back into the manor, with no money and no job. Abby was anything but happy with Ava moving back in, because of her irresponsibility and her lack of sense, but they eventually get along and put their sibling rivalry behind. When Ava decided to check the house for blankets, she found a door leading to the attic, where their family’s spellbook lies. The sisters never knew anything about an attic in their house before. With the death of their grandmother, her spell was undone and the sister’s powers awoke.

Meeting Zane againEdit

As adults, Abby and Zane reunited when they bumped into each other at the library. They hang out afterwards, and went out on dates. She told Zane that she was a witch, but Zane didn’t take it well. They broke up again afterwards. Zane died later on after being attacked by a criminal vampire. Abby never took well of Zane’s death, as she still has feelings for him. Zane was her only serious boyfriend, any boyfriends she had after him often never worked out.

A few months after April’s wedding, the sisters were battling a vampire on a forest, the same one that killed Zane and the girls’ parents. While Abby was directing a spell to kill the creature, the vampire threw her against a rock and she died, leaving her younger sisters.
