It is a bit strange since he is Excitable and Agnes is Grumpy and these traits conflict, however they share their Hopeless Romantic trait. However, Agnes' Grumpy trait could be due to the fact that her husband is dead. It is possible that he may be based off of the folk singer Erik Darling.
