Eliza Pancakes (née Hastings)[1] is a pre-made playable Sim residing Willow Creek, one of the worlds shipped with The Sims 4. She lives with her husband Bob. Eliza and Bob also have a son named Iggy, who was uploaded into Gallery shortly after the toddlers update however, this child can be considered non-canon if players do not download him.

Biography[]
Eliza is a young adult, 28 days away from becoming an adult. She has the Mansion Baron aspiration, and is unemployed at the start of the game. She is very close to completing the first level of her aspiration, and buying one or two more artworks for the house should get her to the next stage. She has three skill points in fitness.
The family bio implies that Eliza and Bob's marriage is an unhappy one. Contrary to what the biography states, they have the same starting relationship as other married couples when actually played, though their trait conflicts which may cause later problems to their marriage. Their house also has two separate bedrooms that seem to be decorated for Eliza and Bob, respectively, possibly implying they sleep separately.
The Pancakes' house features both a painting easel and a sculpting table, and Eliza will often roll wants to use these objects at the start of the game, perhaps implying that she hopes to be a self-employed artist; however, she has no skills yet on either object. This is further supported by the teen version of Eliza uploaded on the Gallery, which likes painting.
Eliza-Betty Comparison[]
Simmers have noted similarities between Eliza and Betty Newbie. Firstly, both are named from diminutives of the given name Elizabeth, and both are married to men named Bob. Furthermore, Eliza's hairstyle is very similar to Betty's in The Sims 3. Her athletic pursuits are also reminiscent of Betty's in the console version of The Sims.
The teen version of Eliza further supports this comparison as she's both not interested in romance and likes painting (like The Sims 3 Betty Newbie who's unflirty and artistic).

Biography[]
Before the release of High School Years, The Sims released promotional images of base-game adult and young adult Sims as teens, including Eliza. This version of Eliza has the surname "Hastings" because she is not yet married to Bob. Her traits are perfectionist and materialistic and she has the teen aspiration Goal Oriented, giving her the Relatable reward trait. She likes the color green, S-Pop music, painting, and fitness.
Furthermore, Teen Eliza is not romantically attracted to either men nor women, but is exploring romantically, and willing to mess around with both men and women. This might mean that Eliza is aromantic or, considering her business-minded personality, that she's too busy wanting good grades and a nice future to worry about love. - Eliza appears alongside her husband in the official Stay Weirder trailer for The Sims 4, where she is shown nagging Bob, who is described as "the least interesting Sim in the world".[2]
- On November 25, 2024, The Sims launched its collaboration with the animated video app Frever. Eliza is used in one of the promotional videos for the collaboration. Frever Eliza wears a different outfit than her Sim counterpart, but has the same hairstyle.[3]
