Edwin Sharpe is a pre-made playable Sim who lives with his older sister Roxie Sharpe and her boyfriend Jonah Powers in the college town Académie Le Tour. He is currently studying mathematics in his Freshman year. Edwin has a crush on Delilah O'Feefe, but the feeling isn't mutual. Edwin is described as being a horribly nerdy person who cannot stand living with his sister and her boyfriend, and constantly embarrasses the two.
His bio states that he wishes that he was back in a Dormitory. The reasons for him moving into his sister's house is currently unknown, but one reason for this could be that he wanted to get away from the noisy dorm life and instead moved in with his sister – though he found living with his sister much worse than being at the dorms.
Edwin's glasses are unused, so if a mirror is used to remove them, they cannot be recovered. A mod that unlocks the hidden glasses can be found here. When editing in SimPE, Edwin's zodiac sign is not recognized. When the household is first played, Edwin is 55 hours away from the final exam in his first semester. Like several other Sims from Académie Le Tour, he starts off with no gender preference.
Strangely Edwin has pre-set relationships with Phineaus Furley, and Ellen Frost, as well as several local NPCs - Gisela Rosa, Jack Fuchs, Chris Cho, Zoe Barrett, and Suzie Alioto. None of these Sims have any relation towards Edwin in return. It is unknown why Edwin has these relationships, though it happens with several other Sims from University.
Strangely, if his appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop, he will be thin instead of fat. This is also the case with Kevin Beare, Monica Bratford, and Chaz Whippler. The reason for this is because he has the fitness texture for thin Sims instead of the one for fat Sims.
This implies that he was originally thin and his fitness level was subsequently modified with a program like SimPE. The only way for him to have the fitness texture for fat Sims without hacks is by having him workout until he becomes thin, and then have him overeat until he is fat again. This also happens with many other pre-made Sims in The Sims 2.
Unused languages have "Random Female Sim Names - please feel free to translate as you wish. (these are US team names)." in the place of his given name. This can be proven with SimPE.
