Earbuds, or music player, are a gameplay object that appear in The Sims 2: University, The Sims 3: Showtime, and The Sims 4: Fitness Stuff. They're portable objects that can play music for a specific Sim, gaining all the moodlets of music everywhere they go.
The Sims 2: University[]
When used, the Cozmo MP3 Player raises the Sim fun motive while they're rocking to it. This object cannot be bought straight from buy mode. Instead, the item can only be purchased from the Sellafone Gadget Kiosk vending machine, which are found in some premade college and downtown community lots. It can also be obtained from the debug menu of testing cheats.
