Dustin Langerak is a pre-made playable adult Sim residing in Sunset Valley, the world shipped with The Sims 3. He lives with his wife, Iliana, his two children Parker and Kaylynn and his sister-in-law Zelda Mae. He is not present in The Sims 2. When the family is first played, he is 19 days away from aging up into an elder.

Dustin is good friends with Kaylynn and Zelda and friends with Jack Bunch, but is only acquainted with Parker. He is a stay at home dad, which is why he has no job at the start of the game; he is said to have strict rules, though cleaning seems to be exempt. He starts off with five skill points in cooking and handiness and seven in athletic. If the player wants to choose a job for Dustin, the Professional Sports or Military careers would be suitable for him. He carries the books Handiness Vol. 1: Unplug It First! and Exit at Powell in his inventory. He also has a very muscular body, which is as a result of his high athletic skill.
