Some people have all the fun. In fact, ONE person might have all the fun: Dudley Landgraab. He managed to buy a TON of fun stuff before his dad cut up his credit cards. A video game console, a hot tub, an air hockey table, a gas grill...you name it! His trailer is practically party central! Good laughs and bad manners. Tasteless decor and tasty burgers. It's hard to tell what is up with Dudley but he will never let you down.

Dudley Landgraab (or Dudley Landgrabb) is the son of Malcolm, the former stepson of Mom, and the brother of Mimi. He is a member of the wealthy Landgraab family and appears in The Sims for console and The Sims Bustin' Out for console.

The Sims (Console)

Dudley first shows up at the beginning of Reality Bites if the player's Sim is a male. He lets the Sim stay for free, but the player has to clean up the house because Dudley and his friends trashed it while partying. After the player completes that level, Dudley will invite the player's Sim to be his roommate at the Party Animals house.

Unlike many other Sims in the game, Dudley is unwilling to skill-build, change careers, clean up, cook meals using the fridge, or answer the phone. However, he is willing to eat snacks, grill, and go to work.

Dudley usually gets promoted after going to work the first time. If he misses work two days in a row, he'll get fired, and the player will get a Game Over from it.

Like Mimi, Dudley knows all the members of the Roomies household. Strangely, he doesn't know the other members of the Landgraab family, as they don't appear in his relationship panel.

Dudley also appears at The Party Motel multiplayer level with his sister, Mimi, and members of the Roomies, Party Girls, and Party Guys households.

The Sims Bustin' Out

Choosing the Gangster, Mad Scientist, Jock, or Paramilitary career allows the player's Sim to move in with Dudley. Sims are able to live in Dudley's Trailer until they have received two promotions in their career track.

Dudley's signature social interaction is to burp in other Sims' faces.

The Sims 4

Dudley, along with his father, sister, and stepmother, is available for download on the Gallery through Maxis' official account. His appearance is based on Bustin' Out, but with a different shirt.

Trivia

• Even though Dudley is unwilling to skill-build, his cooking skill is high. This is most likely to prevent fires in case he uses the grill in The Sims for console or decides to cook in The Sims Bustin' Out for console.
• In The Sims 2, when a female Sim works as a Drive Through Clerk in the Culinary career, Dudley is mentioned on a chance card. "An otherwise quiet night is ruined when local rich kid Dudley Landgraab and some of his hoodlum friends pull up." The chance of success is much higher when the player decides to teach them a lesson.
• In Urbz: Sims in the City, Kicktail Park Resident String Bean's Profile Page lists "Getting called 'Dudley'" as one of his Dislikes. Given the two characters' resemblance and the fact that Urbz takes place after Bustin' Out, there is some speculation that they are the same person.
  • If this is the case, it would make Dudley the only character in Bustin' Out (aside from The Player's Sim) to make a physical appearance in Urbzville.
• Throughout the series, there are some things that imply Dudley is involved in crime. These include:
  • Him heading to his unspecified Job around the time the Burglar Job starts.
  • The Gangster Career Path bringing you to his trailer.
  • Him periodically trying to conceal the reason he's leaving the trailer.
  • Him stealing a fern from Goth Manor and feigning ignorance about it until caught.
