Dora Ottomas in-game

Dora Ottomas is the mother of Peter Ottomas. She lives with his family, which includes her three grandchildren; David, Sharla, and Tommy Ottomas. Her daughter-in-law, Samantha Ottomas, is pregnant with twins at the start of the game.

Strangely, Peter has no father in his family tree, which simply shows Dora as his mother. This has led some players to believe that he was adopted or born out-of-wedlock.

Dora has the lifetime want to "Have 6 Grandchildren." When the game starts, she already has three - David, Sharla and Tommy - and she will not die of old age before Samantha's twins are born, bringing her close to achieving her LTW. Unfortunately for Dora, the birth of the twins brings the household up to its maximum capacity of eight Sims, and without the use of cheats or the Elixir of Life Dora will usually die of old age before David is old enough to move out and free up space in the household for a sixth child.
