Don Lothario is one of the pre-created sims featured in The Sims 2. He resides in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods that ships with the game. He wears blue jeans and a purple striped top, and has a black pompadour. According to the neighborhood back story, Don is the local womanizer, holding down relationships with four women at once. His love interests include the Caliente sisters (Nina and Dina), the maid Kaylynn, as well as Cassandra Goth, to whom he is engaged at the game's start. Don is also involved in the plot surrounding Cassandra's mother, Bella. The back story tells players that Bella was mysteriously abducted and never returned home. However, apparently she was last seen at Don's home. It is said that Bella went to Don's home to welcome him to Pleasantview but was never seen again. He is the only child and son of Adriana Lothario and Nicolo Lothario.
Bella Theories
I think Bella was just visiting Don (They were going to be in-laws) came across the telscope, and couldn't help looking into it. The aliens came, she was gone, and Don was busy woo hooing a chick he met. He finally realized what happened, and informed everyone. Then, the Sims events pick up from there.
My theory is Don knew aliens were coming by watching the news. Every day, being rejected by beautiful Bella, if he couldn't have her, no one would! Anyway, he called her up and Bella came. Don was trying to seduce her, but Bella was to in love with Mortimer and cared for her children. Don asked her to look through the telescope. While he was going to get some refreshments, Bella was abducted.
I say Bella was abducted on Don's deck. He has a telescope, she's a woman, saying a lot, and you can only get abducted from a telescope.
I say Bella was kidnapped by Don Lothario because she didn't want to cheat on her husband and then he sold her to the aliens or something for money.
Perhaps, but I personally think it didn't actually involve Don although the picture shows her at his house...of him and her and the telescope yet she would have to be part of the family to be abducted from another household (and if he was in her household he would have received a memory maybe he was meant to and did not!?!) therefore she was probably abducted at her own house yet it is possible that Maxis deleted her for a storyline or even by accident; well not really deleted but more cursed as in she was attached to a Death Token! It's true the Caliente sisters are so called interested in Mortimer's large sum of money...! Yet thats your choice if you let them get at it as Mortimer does love Dina Caliente!...Traces of Bella come up about anywhere! The mystery still stays...The legend is alive!
I say Don and the Caliente sisters wanted Mortimer and Cassandra's money, so they decided to get Bella out of the picture by luring her to the telescope and having her abducted by aliens.
I think Dina Caliente wanted to marry Mortimer and claim his money, so she had Bella go over to Don's house to look through the telescope. I say Don had no idea Dina wanted to get rid of Bella, so he didn't know she would get abducted. With Bella out of the picture, Dina could get Mortimer's money, then after he died, she could marry Don instead.
I think Don and Dina teamed up to get Bella out of the picture. Dina wanted Bella out to get Mortimer's money. Don wanted to marry Cassandra and knew Bella did not approve.
I put a video of the Strangetown Bella getting abducted at his condo on television and put on the news channel. Now, Don is even more popular and Cassandra split up when they were enganged because the truth and now the Goth family hates him (even Cassandra)even more.
I think he worked together with Mrs. Crumplebottom, who I believe to be his secret mother. The two threw Bella in a closet and made up a story about aliens.
Well, I for one am absolutely sure that Bella's disappearance was definitely an alien abduction, and Dina Caliente most definitely had something to do with it. In case anybody forgot, let me remind you all that the Caliente sisters are alien-human hybrids, for their grandfather is an alien. If you need proof, take a look at their family tree. Somehow, someway, I just know that Dina is somehow responsible. The sisters came to town, Dina spotted Mortimer, dollar signs in her eyes. Only one person in the way of her life of luxury, Bella Goth. If this is NOT the case, then I also have another theory. The one responsible is none other than Mortimer Goth, but with Dina's help. Mortimer's aspiration is knowledge, he's a mad scientist, or at least was. He'd probably do anything to spot UFO at least once in his life. Dina, hoping to get closer to Mortimer, offers her help, a devious plan in mind. She tells Mortimer that she can get him a good alien sighting, but needs Bella to do it. She tells him of her alien heritage, convincing him of that its true. Then, she assures him that Bella won't be harmed, and he finally agrees, but asks why she needs Bella and not him. She tells him that Bella is a beautiful woman and that she will catch the alien's eye. She also adds that she would do it, but she is related to them, so it would be a little weird for her. The next night, Dina hides in the garden, while Mortimer calls Bella up to the rooftop, telling her he spotted something interesting through the telescope and wants her to see it. She looks through, sees nothing, and questions him. He tells her to keep looking and after a minute, she would see something. She does as he says, and suddenly says that she sees something, and its getting closer. As it gets closer and closer, Mortimer spots it, and they both realize it's a UFO. Bella is overcome by fear, while Mortimer is overcome by amazement. Suddenly, a beam shoots out from the center of the UFO, shining on Bella. She starts to be sucked up through the beam, and she grabs the telescope and calls out to Mortimer for help. He grabs onto her arm, pulling her back to him as hard as he can, crying out for help, and for Bella to hold on to him. The aliens pull harder, and soon succeed in pulling Bella right out or Mortimer's grip and up through the beam, into the spaceship. As soon as they have her, they shoot back into the sky, leaving a twinkle behind them. Mortimer goes onto a state of shock, which soon turns to grief. He sobs and screams for Bella. The kids come running out to him, asking him whats going on, and he yells at them to go back to bed. They obey, and Dina comes running, trying to comfort him. He pushes her off, screaming at her, saying that she assured him that nothing like this would happen, that Bella would be fine. Dina then breaks down, playing victim, saying how she never imagined that this would happen, how sorry she is, how she would do anything to get her back, how she would convince them to return her. This calms Mortimer down, and soon they are comforting each other. As they hug, Dina whispers in his ear that everything will be fine. In her mind, Dina already knows that Bella is gone, and will not be making a return anytime soon, and she continues to hug Mortimer, smirking the whole time. (note: it is said that Bella was last seen scaling the deck of Don Lotharios condo, but if you look at Don's memories, you will notice that he has no memory of Bella being abducted by aliens, while Mortimer does. You will also notice that Don has no memory of ever woohooing with Bella, or of even meeting her to begin with. Also, we must remember that her being at Don's condo is merely a theory, there is no proof that it's true.)
What I think is that when Maxis was testing alien abductions they used Bella as a test subject and there was something wrong and she never came back and they thought it'd be good for the storyline!
I think Bella, being pretective of Cassandra, went over to Don to tell him he better not mess with her daughter, I think Don thought Bella was in his way and ruining the chances of his plan to marry Cassandra. So he convinced her to look in the telescope.
i think that dina called the aliens (she is an alien/human) and told them to abduct Bella Goth on her neighbors roof, Don Lothario. they said something in alien that meant yes. she told don to invite bella over and have her look stargaze through the telescope. he did. then, they both went to the roof, went down and called nina and told her it's working. she then told the aliens to do it, and they did.
Bella was abducted by the aliens, on her own roof, and the aliens eventually decieded to return her. But the brought her back to Strangetown. About a year later, she got involved with the dark arts, and moved to the new town that will be coming with apartment life. She was amde the peoples leader, but a spell when arigh, and she was kicked out. Not wanting to bring shame on her family, or Pleasantview, who deeply dispised the magic, moved back to Strangetown. The End!
Player stories
I went a more simple route, and simply had Don brak up with Cassadra and marry Dina. They currently have twin boys and he still seeing Kaylynn and Nina.
I hated all cheating sims but felt sorry for the families. So i made a plan and got don to invite over kaylynn, nina, dina, and danile pleasant. I had don make out with kaylynn and like that it was one big brawl. and nobody cheated ever again
In mine he dumped Cassandra and married Dina and they had 3 kids. Then Don was cheating on Dina so she dumped him. Then Don married Nina and 4 kids. Then Nina dumped Don. Then I made Kayalynn marry him and they 5 kids. Then he dumped her too. Then he resurrected Bella and married her they had 4 kids and he hasn't dumped her.
I had Don marry Cassandra in a very quick informal in his trash-filled living room. During the first two days of their marriage Don was having affairs with about six other women before Cassandra caught him. He was divorced then and immediately married a CAS Rosemary (the one Cassandra had caught him with. Rosemary was pregnant by this time and had a daughter named Claire. The same day Claire was born, Rosemary divorced him for cheating on her with another CAS Denise (also pregnant. He married Denise, who had a son named Daniel, and continued his affairs). Denise found out but, surprisingly, had no reaction. The next day it was obvious the house was too small for a baby so Denise left the house (still married to Don though) with Daniel for a house with space for them. There, she hired a maid, Remington Harris, who she fell in love with. Upon realizing she was pregnant by Remington, Denise divorced Don and married Remington. Don now lives just as he did before getting married to anyone: same house, same bachelor attitude...more women.
I had Don invite over Nina Caliente while Kaylynn, the maid, was cleaning his house. I made Don cuddle with Nina on the couch, Kaylynn saw them, and she was mad at Don for cheating on her.
Don Lothario in my game died after marrying Bella Goth and killing Mortimer. Bella died giving birth to Gunther and Georgia Lothario, Don and Bella's kids.
I brought Darren's wife back to life and had him get married to her, meanwhile he was cheating with Cassandra and got her Pregnant! Don ,Unknowing of his fiance's afair, was having sexual afairs with Dina, Nina, Kaylynn, and another NPC. Kaylynn caught Don with Dina and attacked both of them, but Dina stopped cooking to make out with Don, with triggered Kaylynn's rage. So with Kaylynn fired(as a result of attacking her employer, Dina gone, and Don asleep the stove burned. Without my knowing a fire started, but the bad news was Don dosen't have a fire alarm! I tried to make Don call the Fire Department, but he died, just as Kaylynn was knocking over his garbage and laughing.
In my game I decided to make Don Lothario get married to Cassandra Goth, Cassandra and Don moved out and found a nice sized home for their family. They now have 3 children. One of them is named Pia (oldest girl, teenager) and recently had twins Johnny and Timothy.
I had Don fall in love with his best friends eighteen year old daughter, Rebecca a custom made sim, though he didn't realize how much he cared for her until at his wedding to Cassandra. He left Cassandra at the alter and broke off all of his romantic engagements and asked Rebecca to move in with him.
In my game, I had Don marry Dina Caliente, and they had one son, Flemenco, named after Don's father. I also built on to Don's house, and changed all the walls, floors, and objects, and put better objects in their place. Even after the remodeling, it was still a modern and hip place to live, because I didn't change the original floorplan much.
Don got Nina pregnant and she had twins, Flamenco(after Nina and Dina's dad) and Daniel (after recently departed Daniel Pleasant.) He married Cassandra and right afterwards got her pregnant..and right afterwards Don had an unpleasant experience with a falling satellite. Cassie went crazy, but now she's alright and remarried with Don's little one on the way.
In my game, I had Don have an affair with Mortimer Goth. After Cassandra tried marrying Don, Mortimer proposed marriage to Don and got married. After a few days Don gave birth to their twins while Mortimer died. After Mortimer died, Don started to have realtionships with Darren Dreamer. After the twins grew up, Don and Darren got married. Now Don is pregnant by Darren.
In my game, he married Cassandra Goth very informally. However, he was seeing Kaylynn at the time, and got caught cheating before they could have any children together. He then had an illegitimate daughter with Kaylynn, named Dienne - Tiffany, and they got married. They then had two more children, a boy and a girl who I can't remember the names of at the moment, and he moved out. Kaylynn dosn't mind, however, and he visits her once every couple of days, normally to find a new set of twins (and leaves her pregnant most of the time). He then had a son with Nina, called Demitrius, and she is pregnant with twins also. He had twin boys with a custom sim called Harlem, and then got caught cheating on her with one of her best friends (now enemies), and she wants to fall in love with him, but can't bring herself to do it. He has a very firey relationship with a custom sim called Sandra, and they are about to have twins. He is also 'working on' about three other lady sims. Once all the twins arrive, he will have 12 children, most of whom he dosn't know. How sad!
Don married Cassandra and as people thought he was only interested in staking his claim on the Goth family fortune. Even the birth of his son, Sean didn't make Don change his ways and he continued to flaunt a string of women in front of Cassandra until she threw him out whilst she was pregnant with his second son, Simon. Even though Don attempted to visit to see the children he was unsuccessful, especially when he came up against Cassandra's new husband who got into a fight on the front lawn with Don who ended up crying as he realised what he had lost. Whilst his eldest son Sean was at university Don tried to build bridges between the two of them thinking that because Sean had kept Don's surname (unlike brother Simon who changed his to his stepfather's) but Sean told Don he never wanted to see him again as he never forgave him for the way he treated Cassandra. Don left brokenhearted. He is now an old man who isn't even aware he is a grandfather to Sean's twin daughters Bella and Stacey.
Unable to stomach marrying baby-crazy Cassandra and being too much of a coward to tell it to her face, Don makes a secret arrangement with Dina Caliente. The two enter into a marriage of convenience Don convinces Dina that he's worth just as much as Mortimer, half of which will be Dina's if she agrees to stay married to him until Cassandra gets the hint and moves on. Don can be quite persuasive when he puts his mind to it. After a painfully long while, Cassandra stops upending Don's trash can and stealing his newspapers. In the meantime, Don and Dina realize they truly love each other and decide to stay married. They mend their old ways and settle down to quite the domestic life. Dina goes the intellectual route, becoming a career woman in the process; Don enjoys being the househusband and doting father to their twin boys Noah and Joshua and daughter Danica. After all this time, the two are still in love with each other much to their kid's disgust. Cassandra married Darren Dreamer and dropped off the face of the earth.
In my game, Don left poor Cassandra at the altar, the coward he is, and there was a huge rift put between them. Soon after, he got Nina Caliente pregnant, and she gave birth to a baby boy, whom she named Kingston Giovanni Caliente. Don pays monthly visits. He then got a career in the culinary. He's developed many lovers, including Dina Caliente and Brandi Broke. The maid, Kaylynn, caught him in bed with Nina, and stopped their relationship from then foward. Don later impregnates another sim, his lover Brandi Broke. She gives birth to a baby boy and names him Jeremiah Joshua Broke. Don pays monthly visits just as he does with Kingston. Don grows more successful, and becomes a celebrity chef. He meets Beauty Lee, one of my created sims, and sleeps with her, getting her pregnant with his third child. She gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, and names her Jezabel Tatianna Lee. Don makes monthly visits, as with his two sons. As of now, Don is still being a womanizer, but is fortunatly becoming much more active in his childrens lives. He has also started flirting with Cassandra who married Darren Dreamer.
In mine, I had him knock up Kaylynn, she had a baby boy she named Zack. He then knocked up Nina three times with children they named Connor, Evan, and Jessica. Don had an affair with a nurse I created, Rebecca. Nina caught the two, and broke up with him. He then knocked up Rebecca, and had twins Erin and Erica. Don changed his aspiration which was knowledge, and proposed to Rebecca. They had a wedding at their house when the girls were six. They had their first son, Aaron. Don reached the top of his career, and Erin and Erica have just moved to Académie Le Tour, Aaron is in junior high, their next daughter, Chelsea is in the 4th grade, son Luke is in kindergarten, and Rebecca is expecting her 6th and last child, Casey in 2 weeks.
I had him have a daughter with Nina, then I killed him.
In mine he did woohoo with Nina and got her pregnant and then I had him woohoo with Dina and got her pregnant but Nina saw this and got mad so then I had Don and Dina kiss in front of Cassandra and got her mad so then they broke up and Don and Dina got married and not long after that nina and Dina each had a boy, Xavier Lothario and Don Caliente. Then they had one child together, but when Dina was pregnant with their third child, a boy, I had dina kick him out of the house. Then he got married to one of my CAS sims named Miranda and they had a few kids together and then I had Miranda kick don out of the houe and Cassandra had 12 kids with Darren and then I had Darren kick Cassandra out of the house so then Don and Cassandra got married and had more than 20 kids together and are still happily married. But one of their daughters, Allison had twin girls when she was a teen.
In mine, Don married Cassandra they had three children - Ysabella, Don Jr. and Bella (after Cassandras mother). Secretly Don also had a child with Nina and Cassandra found out. Cassandra and Don broke up. Now Don is woohooing any girl he can get his womanising hands into but don't worry. What goes around comes around.....
Don marries Cassandra only for a day but he still gets her pregnant. Cassandra caught Don cheating with Nina. A few days later cass gave birth to Gregory Goth. He will never meet his father and Cassandra hopes it stays that way. Darren raised him. but anyway, Don has twins with Nina - Sarah and Hannah. Then Don has another set of twins with townie Jan Tellerman - Noreen and Alicia. Then with Don, Jan has Emily. Then Don hooks up with Andrea Hogan and has Connor Hogan. Then with Nina he has a daughter named Justine. Then with Dina he has Selene, waits a while and then has twins Shiloh and Pax. Since Don took Cassandra last name Goth, I made a woman Bianca Lothario and then they got married and Don became a Lothario again. they have 4 children, Don Jr., twins Mary and Julia and then another girl Antoinetta. Bianca wants 2 more children. Don contines to pursue his career and hook up with more women. but there us no way he is having children with them I can't keep track anymore.
In my game Don left Cassandra at the altar. He married Kaylynn Langerak (who had married Daniel Pleasant after Mary-Sue and Lilith died. Angela went to college. They had two daughters, Dannii-Kaye and Luna and adopted Alan, Kerie, Diabola and Travis.) but cheated on her with Nina, who got pregnant. Kaylynn divorced him and he got married to Nina who had a little girl, Adriana after Don's mother. Adriana looks exactly like Don (she is a toddler) but with red hair.
Don didn't get married to Cassandra in my game. They had moved to they biggest house in pleasantview. he got cassandra pregnant. he then had died because he drowned in the pool. cassandra had her baby after moving back. the name is bella, she's a teen. i then had him ressurected (w/ mary-sue and daniel pleasant, and mortimer goth) he got married to Kaylyyan. Nina and Dina are enimies with don. he got kaylyyan pregnant and they had twins. i think thier names are donny and kaylianne.
Don married Cassandra and invited all his ex-flames around. Cassandra and Don killed them. Soon (thanks to boolprop) Cassandra got pregnant with Nicolo and Don with Bella. Then they got pregnant again, Don with alien Veronica and Cassandra with Carlos.
I had Don move in Nina and then they slept together and she got pregnant and then she moved out...then he moved Dina into his house and they slept together and she got pregnant and then she just moved out...then he moved Kaylynn in and they slept together and she got pregnant and moved out. Dina ended up having twins a boy named Blake and a girl named Megan...Nina had a boy named Devin and Kaylynn had a boy named Dustin....Don refused to see any of them...and he met a new girl named Cynthia and he started a relationship with her and Cassandra, Nina, Dina, And Kaylynn came over to his house and saw him kissing her and they all slapped him!
In my game, Don married Cassandra but still kept up his affairs with Nina, Dina, And Kaylynn (which got very difficult when Cassandra and Dina were at home and the maid was cleaning!). He had a son with Cassandra called Cassius and unknowingly had a son with Nina. When Mortimer died, Dina and Don became a bit sloppy and Woo-Wooed in the house and Cassandra walked in on them. Furious, she attacked Dina and Don, becoming enemies with them both. However, given the fact Dina was now a mother, Cassandra spared her revenge. Don was not so lucky. Cassandra called him into the downstairs toilet and locked him in. Don died of starvation and left Cassandra to marry the man who truly loved her - Darren Dreamer
In my game, Don left Cassandra at the altar. Then he had a similar romance with a similar ending with Kaylynn, the maid. Now he lives alone, doomed not to have any more women because I hate him. He and Nina Caliente have two illegitimate children, Anna and Francisco Caliente.
