Davis Dreamer is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the son of Dalmar and Dacia, the husband of Delilah, the father of Darren, the father-in-law of Darleen Dreamer (née Matlapin), and the grandfather of Dirk. Although Davis is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his son and grandson.
According to Davis' SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 17 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Davis is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. He uses a character portrait pose that was discontinued during development. It is presumed that Davis died of old age. In Darren's memories, it seems Davis died while Darleen was pregnant with Dirk.
