Darius Nejem is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Desiderata Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: FreeTime. He was the husband of Jasmine, the father of Cyrus, the grandfather of Elizabeth Aspir (née Nejem), and the great-grandfather of Pauline Aspir. He is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave.
Darius has the Knowledge aspiration and the Taurus zodiac sign. As far as personality, he is very playful, and a little bit neat and outgoing, but he is quite lazy and somewhat grouchy. According to Darius' SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned gray. According to his age data, he had 13 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Darius uses the 7th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the nose and mouth, which use the 2nd and 16th face templates, respectively. Also, the lower face is slightly narrower, and the mouth corners are up.
Darius is derived from the Greek Dareios, from the Persian Darayavahush, comprised of daraya, 'to possess', and vahu, 'good'.
