The Dance Club is a visitable lot in The Sims 3 DS.
The exterior looks like a shell of sorts, but when the Sim enters the shell, they instead enter a lot that bears little semblance to the area around the shell.
It features brightly colored walls, floors, and lights, an end table where you can find the Casanova Karma Power,[confirmation needed] a few decorations, two smoothie bars with stools, a dance floor (not available in the regular object catalog to normal Sims), couches, rugs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors (not just in the bathroom).
If you spend a lot of time here, it should be noted that you can actually keep your Sim happy off of the items on the Dance Club. All you need to do is continuously wash your hands to eventually fulfill the hygiene need, use the toilet to fulfill the bladder need, dance to fulfill the fun need, drink smoothies to fulfill the hunger need, and sleep on a couch to fulfill the energy need. As you will see in the next paragraph, the Dance Club is also an ideal place for socializing for the social need.
At least a few random other Sims from the neighborhood will come by the Dance Club at night... usually at around 6-8:00 PM, and they will usually be in the mood for smoothies, dancing, music and socialization. Since the Casanova Karma Power is located here[confirmation needed] and there is always constant music in the background, it is known to be easier to make friends and even fall in love with Sims in the Dance Club. Town Sims will usually leave the Dance Club at around 1-3:00 AM. Dancing with other Sims is one of the fastest ways to build a relationship on this lot.
